- one month later -

it's been a month since mikasa and levi have been back home, levi has been doing his own thing since he is a lot older than us so why would he hang out with two girls who are in their mid twenties? as far as i know, some of his coworkers were also in the city so he has been hanging out with them mostly instead but i do see him almost everyday. as for mikasa, we've been together 24/7 since she's been here. i've been helping her search for wedding and have planned to go to italy in 4 months, mikasa wanted to do her wedding somewhere we spent a lot when we were kids and she picked italy, one of the most romantic countries. we do have a home there and she planned to have her and jean's close friends with family to stay over since there is a lot of rooms.

we had just gone to the gym and decided to eat out for lunch in manhattan in one of our favourite places here, it's been our spot whenever she would come back home.

"mmmh i have missed this place" mikasa takes a bite of her food feeling pleasured of her comfort food "ugh me too, i don't go here anymore unless i'm with you" i nodded after taking a bite.

"awh now it feels more special coming here" she pouts and put her hand on her chest as i laughed.

"when is jean coming back?" i asked mikasa "he's coming down next week, he's visiting his family first and when he comes, we're going to be really busy with planning for the wedding" mikasa thinks then nodded to the plans she made.

"oh and i have someone for you"

"for me? what do you mean" i was quite confused on what she meant because who is someone?

"he's friends with jean and i thought you would have an interest in him" mika answers as she finishes her food "he'll be coming here next week at the same time as jean so me and jean planned a blind date for you guys" she smiles and my eyes widen. um what did she mean a blind date? this is quite shocking for mikasa to do but it was definitely jean's idea to do this "well it was jean's idea and i agreed with cause why not?" she shrugged innocently, ah i was right though. it was jean's idea.

"mikasa why? you know i haven't dated in a while" i whined "that's exactly the point, i am not letting you become like levi who has no dating life and also it could be fun" she hummed smiling , i rolled my eyes and paid the bill. we were walking back to my house to just relax before levi comes to hang out for a bit.

throughout the walk mikasa kept begging me to go on the blind date "fine i'll go but i'm choosing the restaurant and he's paying" i pointed my finger at her making sure she understood, she nodded excitedly and gave me a hug "ah thank you y/n, i'm going to call jean when we get to your house!"

"y/n can you please get an elevator" levi panted as he got to the rooftop balcony of y/n's townhome.

"you're a captain of a squad aren't you levi? this is easy work for you plus it brings how vintage this house is" i smiled at him pouring him a beer.

"this view is pretty worth it to walk four flights of stairs" mikasa looks around seeing the view of the city.

"by the way mikasa got me this blind date with jean's friend" i rolled my eyes looking at her "levi you know this guy already he's apart of the squad, you know what let me just whisper it in your ear" she went to go whisper in his ear and levi's eyes widen a little bit.

"i'm just going to wish you luck y/n i honestly don't how will this go for you" levi sips his beer.

"it's going to be great for her! he's not that bad if he's friends with jean" mikasa disagrees with levi "hmm well they used to not like each other and they would used to cause trouble in the squad levi answers bluntly.

"k that was like when we were training and got into the squad, look at them now they're best friends" mikasa argued.

"eh i don't care either she's going to like him or not like him" levi telling mikasa.

"i don't even know who you guys are talking about but whatever, im going to get dinner prepped." i waved off and go downstairs on my way to the kitchen.

11:08 pm

mikasa and levi have left to go back to their places, since we're not far from each other we've mostly walked to each others house.

i was pretty tired and tipsy since we all drank a little bit more than anticipated but had a lot of fun with each other, i've always loved spending time with them and have been a positive sighting for us especially from work where we're never really in the best moods and always so serious. i guess this is just our time to be our normal selves and have fun maybe that's why i agreed to the blind date.

my house cleaner cleaned up whatever was left behind although it wasn't too bad since the three of us cleaned up most of it. we grew up with people cleaning and taking care of everything for us but my parents raised us to never take advantage of them and still clean up after ourselves.

i got ready for bed to get going for the next day... i just wonder who this man is that they're talking about.
