"I want every information on Farrah Wilson for the past three years, can you help me with that? Consider your debt paid after you hand me what I'm asking for."
(I'll do what I can.)
If Farrah want to play it the hard way then so be it. Working in the industry and successfut at that, is no longer a wonder why she amassed a fortune which she wisely invested doubling its worth.
Having such money attracted some big personalities in the business world needing additional funds, now it's time to make use of her 'business partners'.
While waiting for the information she's asking for, she still needs to look for someone. Nesa, who mysteriously disappeared after creating a fuss about Farrah's lies and her entanglement in all of this hidden mess.
The company banished her three years back, it may be best to steer clear of Boss N for the time-being. If she needs answers, she has to do it herself and thread very carefully.
Now for the task at hand, somebody has got to know the whereabouts of Nesa. Since Maxine revealed Farrah's plan, she might be withholding other important facts.
Speaking of Maxine, she was never a keeper. They knew each other since childhood and they have both told each other's secrets, even the most embarassing ones. That is something she needs to discuss with her.
To do that, she needs to ask someone else who also knew her. Maxine's ex-boyfriend, Marvin, may tell her the reason why they broke up. She did not actually tell them they've broken up and initially thought Marvin was cheating on her when she saw him with a girl at a restaurant.
'We broke up six months ago', was Marvin's words when she confronted him. She called Maxine after that and she was mum about the reason behind ending their eight-year long relationship.
With the help of Hillary, she was able to track down the latest address of Marvin, who is currently living with his fiancee.
She had purchased a car recently and decided to use it to drive herself to Marvin's because she thought it was best to leave her PA and manager out of this.
It was a twenty-minute drive from the city center, the neigborhood is high-end and exclusive to only its residents, the guard had to ask for confirmation from the owners before he could let me in.
Marvin was already waiting for her at the driveway waving at her.
"Look who's back." He greeted as soon as she stepped out of her car.
"Hello Marv and I should say my early congratulations. Though I really thought it was gonna be my best friend with you in that aisle." She gawked at his reaction.
He shook his head, showing his disapproval. "Maybe if she was the same old Maxine I fell in love with then you might be right." He gestured his hand for her to walk with him towards the house.
Charlie looked up at the exterior of the couple's house, it was huge.
"I heard you designed this house. Was it always your dream to build this kind of house or is it your dream with your soon-to-be wife?"
What could have been different if he and her bestdriend haven't broken up, would they still be living separately and would she had rejected him for the nth time?
Marvin laughed knowingly, "Maxine is never gonna want this with me. She always said she loved me but clearly didn't want to settle down just yet."
"Is that the reason why you broke up?" Charlie is aware it isn't.
"If that was the reason, I should've broken up with her way, way back." He looked at her skeptically, curious about their current friendship.
"I have a feeling you and Maxine are not close as before. Many things have changed since you left, you know."
