*Marinette hangs up the phone
"Ugh Tikki, there's been so many akuma attacks this week I've had no time to hang out with Adrien or do any of my school work!"
"Don't worry Marinette I'm sure everything will work out. Hawk Moth will take a break at some point."
"You're right Tikki! Everything will turn out okay. *Yawn goodnight Tikki"
"Good night Marinette"
As Marinette finally had time to rest, Hawk Moth had other ideas...
"Fly away my little akuma and evilize this tired boy. Sandboy I am Hawk Moth. Were you having a bad dream again? I'm offering you back your powers to bring everyone in Paris's nightmares to life in exchange for Ladybug and Cat noir's jewels"
"You have a deal Hawk Moth! The sandboy just checked in, now nightmares can begin"
At Adrien's
"The sandboy just checked in, now nightmares can begin"
"Huh? Plagg what was that?"
"Adrien!"
"Who's there?"
In a dark corner of Adrien's room, a figure began to move towards Adrien.
"Adrien I don't love you!"
"Marinette?! What are you doing here? What are you doing here."
"Adrien you are just like your father, lazy and pathetic. How could anyone love you!"
"Marinette what happened? Are you okay?"
Outside shouting and large roars could be heard. Adrien ran to his window and saw dinosaurs, robots, and gremlins chasing Parisians around the city
"The sandboy must be back!"
Adrien ran to his washroom
"Adrien! Where are you going. You're a horrible person!"
Adrien slammed the door on the nightmare Marinette
"Looks like were pulling another allnighter. Plagg claws out!"
Back to Marinette
"The sandboy just checked in, now nightmares can begin"
As the dust went over Marinette's bedroom scratching could be heard from her balcony
"Marinette! Get up!"
Marinette quickly got up and immediately recognized the voice
"C-cat Noir? Are you on my balcony?"
"Not exactly...."
Marinette swiftly made her way onto her balcony and looked around but saw no one there
"Cat Noir? Seriously I'm trying to sleep. You should be doing the same. This is no time for games"
Marinette looked around and still saw no one. Then she could hear someone screaming from below and looked down. She could see a dinosaur, robots, and gremlins chasing parisians around.
"The Sandboy's back! Wait if he's back..."
Behind Marinette, she could hear the sound similar to nails on a chalk board. Her pupils shrinked and all her hair stood up. She quickly grabbed her ears and slowly turned around. There was four deep lines cut into the bricks on her balcony that followed behind the chimney. Then he came out.
"It's been a while, M'lady"
