Marinette stood there looking at her old friend. It had been over a year since Bunnix took her to save the timeline and to defeat Cat Blanc. Somehow by her giving a present to Adrien and signing it, he found out and it lead to Cat Noir being akumatized but she never looked deeper into it for the sake of both of their identities. Still, she always wondered what went wrong?
"It's been a while Marinette" Cat Blanc grimaced
"Y-You're just a nightmare!" Marinette closed her eyes trying to ignore him
"I'm back Marinette. Don't tell me you forgot about me? Give me a hug M'lady"
Cat Blanc made his way over to Marinette. Just as he was going to hug her she swiftly opened the trapdoor to her bedroom
"We have to end this nightmare before something bad happens! Tikki Spots on!"
Marinette transformed and quickly got out of her house making her way over to her and Cat Noir's rendezvous.
"You can't ignore me forever Ladybug! I will find you" Cat Noir yelled
Ladybug was shaking with fear. She completely forgot about him. Everything in her life was perfect and she never thought about what happened that day anymore. She felt as though she kept less secrets with Cat Noir and that they were closer than ever. Plus he had a girlfriend now so she had no reason to have any fear of Cat Blanc returning. As Marinette swung around the city she spotted Cat Noir pacing around their rendezvous point. Then he spotted her.
"Evening M'lady. Looks like were facing an old friend of ours again. This shouldn't be too difficult."
"He's not the only old friend were facing." Ladybug said under her breath
"Let's get this over with as soon as possible"
"Not a fan of your nightmare m'lady?"
Cat Noir looked at Ladybug. She was shaking with fear in her eyes. Cat Noir grabbed her hand and was able to get it to stop shaking
"Don't worry. There just nightmares. They can't hurt you"
"CATACLYSM"
Behind Ladybug and Cat Noir a building started rumble and fall to the ground
"What was that?!"
"Cat Noir I'm so sorry I never told you, I thought he was in the past, but-"
"Who?"
"Ladybug! Give me your miraculous and we can be together forever. With no more secrets we can tie the knot."
"Cat Noir we have to get out of here"
"M'lady what's your fear?"
Ladybug was looking at Cat Noir trying to catch her breath when she saw him from behind
"Cat Noir run!"
Cat Noir turned around and saw him, Cat Blanc
"It's- me?"
Cat Blanc stood there with a strong Cataclysm in hand
"Come with me Ladybug"
"Ladybug this is your fear? You're scared of me getting akumatized? That's your greatest fear!"
"Cat Noir I'm sorry I never told you about this. I made a mistake and Bunnix had to take me to the future to save you"
"I was akumatized?! And you never thought of telling me."
Cat Noir heavily sighed and paced the rooftop
"Unbelievable! After everything we've been through you STILL keep secrets from me. I'M YOUR PARTNER! Were you ever going to tell me?"
Cat Blanc smirked
"She really knows how to hurt people. Don't you mari-"
"Stop it! Cat Noir we have to stay focused. We need to defeat Sandboy to get rid of all the nightmares. Please I'll explain everything to you afterwards, I swear"
"Can you promise me? Can you ABSOLUTELY prove it to me that this is the last secret?"
"We'll talk okay"
Cat Noir was furious
"Fine let's get this over with"
Cat Noir sped away to go after Sandman
"Oh come on Cat Noir!"
"No matter how far you think you've come, I can tell you still have feelings for me. Maybe if you don't keep secrets from me, I wouldn't be here"
"It was a faze, I've moved on. I have a boyfriend now."
Cat Blanc was confused
"If it's not Cat Noir, it's not possible that you-"
"What?"
"This is too funny. If what I think is true you have to me the most stupid girl in all of Paris"
"What!?"
"It's about time I have a little fun"
Cat Blanc went up to ladybugs face and put his hand on her chin pulling her face closer.
"I'll see you later Marinette" Cat Blanc smiled and went off in Cat Noir's direction
"What is he up to?"
Ladybug tried calling Cat Noir no answer
"Oh Cat Noir, please don't do this to me"
