Gwen's POV :

"Would you like to dance?" Asa holds my hand

"I'd love to" i wrapped my hand around his neck and while we are dancing, his phone started ringing, but he didn't want to ruin the moment, the person keeps calling and callingo i think its important. "answer it, maybe its important" i said to him and we stopped dancing

"You dont mind?"
"No, not at all"
"Okay"

He picks it up and walk away a few steps. he finally hangs up and walk to me, he looks like he's panic.

"Whats wrong?"
"My little sister.. she said she is going to her friend's house and she should be home 3 hours ago, i need to find her"
"Okay, i'm coming with you"
"No you're not, this is your night, i know you wanted to talk to shawn also, and your sister, you need to take care of her, her prom date is not a very nice guy you know"
"Okay..youre right" i sigh and he kissed me on my forhead and left.

I sat down on a chair in the corner of the room looking at shawn and lauren, looking at how shawn is so happy chatting with her, and then someone blocked my sight, it was Madison probably the meanest, most stuck up girl in school.( and also lauren's bff)

"Look at you, sitting down alone, dateless, looking at someone you love talking with someone else who is way more beautiful than you" she smirked

I stood up and smile "listen madison.. I'm really not in the mood to talk to someone like you. so, you have three seconds to walk away before something bad happens to you"

"I'm not scared of you, you're just a stupid girl who is friendzoned, and struggle to get a boyfriend"

I took a deep breath and walk pass her and she pushed me hard and i fell to the floor, all eyes on me and people laughed at me. Before i can stand up she grab a glass of water and pour it all over me, i just want to kill her already.
I stood up before Olivia could help me, and i walk out of the place. Honestly i feel like i could just smack her head to the wall, but i don't want to cause a lot of drama. I didn't cry, i just want to calm myself down.

I took a deep breath and walk back inside, i stand up near the table with lots of food, so when Madison came up to me i could just smack her with food.
And then shawn came up to me,

"Hey, you allright?"

"Yeah.. i just wanna go home, but i cant leave my sister here, so i have to wait for her"

"Oh..where's Asa?"

"He's looking for her sister. what are you doing here anyway? Where's Lauren, you can't just leave her"

"She went home, she has a headache"

"Oh poor girl"

"Look, i'm sorry i didn't-"

"Shhhh lets not talk about that, i'm okay"

"We're friends right?"

My heart just dropped "yeah, we're friends".

I don't know what's wrong with me, i mean.. we are friends.

"Do you want to dance?" he asked
"Idk, my hair is wet, my knee hurts, my face probably looks like shit right now, i can't stand looking at you in the eyes, and-" i shut my mouth, gosh why did i say that?.

He lauged and my face is getting red, "why? My eyes are too gorgeous to handle?" He laughed again "you know, i also can't stand looking at you eyes, it makes me feel.." he stopped

"What?" I asked smirking
"Nevermind, do you wanna dance or not?"
"No, i feel disgusting. i just wanna go home"
"Lets go to your house"
"Okay"

We drive home with Olivia and we entered the house.

"Wait here, i'm gonna change" i said and walk upstairs and Olivia followed me.

I change into my oversized sweater, short shorts, and remove my makeup.
I grab his shirt, hi flannel and his jeans tht he left in my house. and then i go downstairs and hand the clothes to him.

"Thanks" he smiled.
"Sure"
"Now don't look"
"Oh come on shawn, i've seen you in your boxers before" i laughed and cover my face with a pillow. "Are you done?" I added
"Yeah, open"
I opened my eyes and he sat next to me

We sat next to each other in silence,
"I love your performance" he broke the silence
"Thanks"
"Was that a diss for me?"
I didn't answer, hundereds of thoughts are running through my mind
"Hey" he added
"Huh? What?" I shook off my thoughts, i dont know that to say.

He wrapped his arm around me and pulls me closer to him. I lean on his shoulder and his head leans on my head. Awkward silence..

"I don't know what i was thinking" i said
"You know, you deserve someone better" he said rubbing my arm
"You too" i wrapped my arm around his torso and we fell asleep on the sofa.
