Just friends no more

A date?

Hello guys, sorry for the halt. Let's resume our journey. Please ignore typos, i might not proof read. Thank you.

They have started meeting people especially Karu along wtih Varun. They have become good friends by now. They have successfully held 5 of such meetings and Karu is loving it. Hasee accompanied her in 3 of them. Hasee was mostly managing the people and deciding venues, Karu is taking care of the creative part. It has become their joint venture now. Both of them and the boys are very passionate about this.

After one such meeting they were returning home when a guy named Amar approaches Hasee.

Amar: Hey, Hi Haseena.

Karu and Hasee stop and turn to him.

Hasee: Hi Amar

Amar: Wo kuch baat krni thi.

Hasee: Haan bolo.

Amar: Wo.. wo umm i want to suggest topic for next discussion.

Hasee: Sure. Wo department Karu ka hai.

She looks at Karu but Karu understands what's happening.

Karu: Haan group pe dalo sochenge. Hum abhi aate hai tum log baat karo.

And she leaves without looking at Hasee. Hasee gets confused and was about to go behind her when Amar interrupts.

Amar: Haseena ek aur baat hai.

Hasee: Haaan?(her attention is mostly on Karu)

Amar: Kya tum kal mere sath coffee pine chalogi? I like you. You know I am a decent guy. Ek baar baat krte hai phir jo bhi tumhara faisla hoga.

Now Hasee's whole attention is on him. She looks at him keenly. She is thinking about what just happened. Not that this has never happened before but this time the guy is actually decent and polite, also very very handsome. She thinks for a while and nods with a smile. Amar gets really happy and excited.

Amar: Text me the time and if you don't mind can i decide the place?

Hasee: Yeah sure.

They nod and Amar leaves happily. Hasee goes to Karu.

Haee: Tumhe pata tha na what was coming?

Karu: (smiling) so going on a date huh? Finally!

Hasee: I won't call it a date. Dekhte hai kaisa lagta hai phir sochenge.

Karu: Of course! Chalein?

They entwine their hands and move towards bike. Karu doesn't know how to feel about this event but she decides to behave or at least pretend to be okay with this. "Amar is a good guy, let Hasu decide what she wants", Karu thinks. Hasee has put her head on Karu's shoulder and they are heading home.

Next day Hasee is getting ready for her "date", she calls Karu.

Hasee: ayi kyun nahi?

Karu: Thoda kam kr rahi hu.

Hasee: aa jao na yar, bas 5 min. Pleaasseeeeee. It's my first date.

Karu: Oh aur mujhe laga ki it's not a date.

Hasee: Ahh I don't know but I'm nervous.

Karu: The Haseena Malik, future IG is nervous?

Hasee: Shut up and and get your ass here.

Karu: Haan to room ka darwaja to kholo.

Hasee hurriedly opens the door.

Karu: Whoa, itna kehar dhana jaroori hai kya?

Hasee: Too much? laga hi tha hume. Batao na kya pehnu.

Karu: Tum jo bhi pehnogi ye jo nervous expressoions hai tumhare chehre pe wohi katilana hai. Kash mein ladka hoti.

Hasee: Are you flirting with me?

Karu: Whhaat? n no!

Hasee: Umm to varun se ye sikha ja raha hai.

Karu: Mein bas majak kr rahi thi.. sorry.

She looks anywhere but at Hasee. Hasee gets confused to why Karu is getting nervous for a joke.

Hasee: Chill chill. Kya hua hai?

Karu goes to Hasee's cupboard and takes out a white kurti and hands it to her.

Karu: Kuch nahi hua hai, ye pehno. Main hu bahar.

Karu gets out of the room and leaves a long sigh.

Karu: Ye mein kya kr rahi hu? aur ye hummat ayi kahanse? Ye Varun ka bachha bigad raha hai. Waise kehar to sach me dha rahi hai mohtarma.

Hasee comes down wearing white kurti and light make up. Karu can't take her eyes off of her but she controls her emotions.

Karu: Waah. Bhai aaj hi propose na kr de. Thoda dimple kam dikhana.

They both laugh. Karu goes to drop her at the cafe and promises to come to pick her up as well.

Hasee: Agar mujhe bhagna ho to mein miss call dungi tum koi bahana bana ke le jana mujhe yahanse.

Karu: Aisa kuch nahi hoga. Jao ab.

Amar is already waiting for her. Karu stays for a while looking at them. Amar pulls the chair for her and hands her some flowers but as he gets to know about the allergy he immediatly puts them away. Karu smiles an leaves.
