Just another day at the kingdom, young prince Tsukasa Tenma has woken up and is ready to tackle the day! (Even though nothing special will happen) He picks what he shall wear for the day and gets ready
When he walks down the stairs, his servants arrive to tell him-
"Your Highness, breakfast is ready."
Tsukasa smiles, and replies
"I'll be there in a moment"
When he finally made it down, he took a quick look at the window outside, everything was going well!
Tsukasa made it to the dining table, his little sister, Saki looked at him with a smile
"Tsukasa! Here, sit down!" She said, patting the chair next to her. Tsukasa smiled and sat next to Saki
Then came in their breakfast, 2 bowls of acqua pazza, they happily ate it
While eating, Tsukasa asked Saki-
"Saki, do you know where our parents are?"
Saki shrugged, "I don't know, they did say they had some important manners to attend to last night" she said
Tsukasa nodded, "Oh". He said, and continued eating. Tsukasa was planning to ask his parents about him going outside for once, but he's out of luck today. After all, who even likes having to avoid royal guards and going outside at midnight for secret walks? That's right, no one. Tsukasa is tired of having to do this everytime, but now he has to deal with it
The reason his parents never let him (and Saki) out is cause they're worried that something bad could happen to him and Saki, and they won't stay alive
But..look at the outside? It's so pretty! What bad can be out there?
Secretly upset, Tsukasa continues eating without a word, and breakfast goes as silent as usual
When he's done, Tsukasa goes up to his room to look out the balcony since there's no chance getting out secretly at day either
"Look at these beautiful trees, flowers and everything...why can't we go out? Not that anything could happen"
He sighed, and decided to read a book to pass time as usual
Tsukasa's day went as boring as usual. Wake up, get ready, eat breakfast, read a book, eat lunch, read a book, eat dinner, and now he's waiting for everyone to sleep
At 1 am, he decides to strike. He puts on a cloak and decides to slowly open the door and walk downstairs
Slowly, slowly, slowly..he made it to the dungeon where there's for some reason an exit, Tsukasa goes out there, shuts the door, and decides to go on a walk
"The moon has risen up, hm? Even the stars are with the moon at this very night" Tsukasa says as he looks up, he smiles. It's a shame he isn't legally allowed to go outside like this, but at least he can still manage to go out illegally, even if it's annoying
As he keeps walking, he keeps seeing new and old things. New flowers he's never heard of, owls, fruit trees and so on. He adores looking at them so much to the point he got distracted and got lost
He's now in a forest, Tsukasa looks around. He tries to calm himself down from screaming and he succeeded (though, the urge is still there..)
"Alright, calm down Tenma Tsukasa, you are a future star and stars don't get anxious about things like this..!" He mutters to himself and keeps looking around when he remembered, there was a situation like this before
Great! That means if he can just remember where he went that time, he can make it!...or so, he thought
He actually can't remember at all, what if he gets lost and stuff?! Tsukasa calms down and decides to try finding it himself
When walking, he heard footsteps. Tsukasa gasps softly, he looked behind him, he looked left and right up and down, and didn't see anything
"Maybe I was hearing things?" He said, and continued walking
Then he heard footsteps, again. He checked the same way as earlier, and didn't find anything again
"Why do I keep hearing things?" He muttered to himself again
He walked and walked and walked..and heard the sound of footsteps again
He angrily looked behind and shouted, "Who's there?!"
Tsukasa...didn't see anything behind, he thought there was going to be nothing again, but when he slowly turned around, there was someone, a woman
He yelped and backed away in fear, "W-Who are you?! Are you here to take me away?! Oh please, kindly spare this future star!" He got down on his knees and begged, the woman giggled
"Oh you're too scared, get up boy, I need you to help me" She said. Tsukasa chuckled awkwardly before slowly getting up
He scanned the woman carefully. She's around his age, has light blue eyes and long eyelashes. Her hair is the same color as her eyes, worn loose and wavy. She also has a beauty mark near the right corner of her lip
"Who..are you?" Tsukasa confusingly said. "Ah, pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself but now I don't think it matters." The woman said
"Hey, we just met and you're not gonna tell me your name?! How impolite of you!" Tsukasa said, the woman frowned a little
"I really don't think my name is important. Now, you're from the Kingdom of Kinsora, right? Where's the kingdom?" She said. "Woah woah woah! We don't even know each other and you already assume I'm from the Kingdom of Kinsora??" Tsukasa said
"They're known for their natural blonde hair, so it's pretty much obvious" She shrugged. Turns out, Tsukasa hasn't been putting on the hood of his cloak properly... "Shhh! Make sure NOBODY knows about this!!" Tsukasa said in fear
"Unless if you tell me the direction of the kingdom, I WON'T say anything. Now, kindly show me where it is" She replied
"The kingdom? Well it's..uh...uhm...I think.." Of course, Tsukasa wouldn't know where it is cause he's obviously lost. "Look, I really don't have time so if you could just kindly let me know, I would really appreciate it" The woman, losing her patience, told Tsukasa
"Uh..it's somewhere...over there! Not quite far, I think" Tsukasa said. "But why do you even need to go there?" He adds. "None of your business, kind sir. Now thank you and-" Before she could finish her sentence, Tsukasa interrupted
"Hold on! I still need to know your name, in case if we encounter each other like this again" He said, "Seriously? Alright, fine. Shizuku Hinomori. I'll meet you later" Before Tsukasa could ask his final question, the woman, who introduced herself as Shizuku, ran off
"Tch, how rude! Talking to Kinsora's prince and the world future star like that!" He muttered angrily, and tried finding his way home again
He went the way he told the woman to go, and he actually ended up at his palace!
"Oh? If I told Shizuku to go the way I just went without knowing then I went the way I told her to go to...I'm a genius! I'm fitted to be a star!" Tsukasa said, realising the coincidence, he was about to laugh out loud and proud when he realised, he shouldn't do that
Immediately covering his mouth, he returns back to the palace using the same route. He came back to the dungeon, and was about to go up when he heard footsteps. He patiently waited for it to stop...
It took 10 minutes for it to stop, Tsukasa gently and slowly opened the door snd shut it, before going back upstairs to his room
He sat on his bed, thinking about what just happened...why did that woman named Shizuku even wanted to come to the kingdom? He thinks, as he keeps thinking, he gets tired and ends up falling asleep
(Sorry if this is lazy!! I didn't know what to write much but I promise I'll try making the next chapter a bit better than this one ^^")
