Jace watched Renva with careful eyes, it was like if he blinked she would be gone and he would wake up from the best dream of his life. Jace then himself repeated the same motions to her, stilling while wiping a dried trail of blood that dripped from her lip to her chin.

Grabbing the rag from Jace, Renva tossed it to where the other dirty ones laid. She noticed how Jace never took his eyes off her since they got to the chamber. Walking back up to Jace she slowly grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the bed. It was in that moment that Jace finally snapped out of whatever daze he seemed to be in, he switched the positions so he was leading her towards the bed. She had a small smile etched onto her face knowing her action will set in motion the rest of the night.
