Ashley woke up at 5 am as usual and got off the bed. She covered her brother properly before going to their gym room. She did a few exercises making sure not to hurt her hand so it would heal quickly and came back to her room and changed into her school outfit.
She looked at the clock and it was still early so she decided to cook breakfast for everyone and she did. Later after cooking, she went to their room and saw her brother still sleeping. She pushed him off the bed after keeping a pillow on the floor and he groaned before sitting up and looked at her annoyed.
Asher : whyyyy!?
Ashley : time to get up. The breakfast is ready so come quickly.
Asher : did you cook!? I'll be there quickly!
He smiled brightly forgetting that he was kicked out of the bed and went to the washroom to freshen up quickly. Ashley went in front of her mother's room and debated in her mind if she should call her or not but soon Asher came there and sent her back to the dining room before calling their mother.

He came back soon and started stuffing the food quickly and Ashley smacked his head before telling him to eat properly which he obeyed. Their mom came to the table and Ashley noticed her puffy eyes and sighed before speaking.
Ashley : I'm sorry for yesterday. I overreacted.
Mom : it's okay. I understand.
Asher : she said, she agrees with your marriage and all.
Mom : really!? Thank you so much, ashi!
Ashley : it's fine. Do we need to move out to their house? And when? Do I need to follow their rules in their home? If yes then I'm staying here alone. You both can move out happily.
She said and started eating without looking at them. Their mother was surprised to hear her speak too much but shook her head before replying.
Mom : of course not! You can live there however you want since I know you're a good kid! And we haven't decided when we are marrying yet.
Ashley hummed and sipped on her hot chocolate milk and wiped her mouth as she was finished. She looked at Asher gulping his milkshake and spoke when he was finished.
Ashley : so which class are you in?
Asher : Third Year college. Why?
Ashley : what class did you transfer me into, mom?
Mom : same as Asher, don't worry. I know you skipped two classes too just like him since you are brilliant. Your principal kept informing me about you.
Ashley : thanks. We'll get going now.
She said and got up and collected her and Asher's plates before putting them into the sink since her mother was still eating. She took her bag before going out. She looked at Asher after coming out and he stared back in confusion.
