The day had come when the king of serenity heavens was stepping down the throne and passing the crown down to the new ruler.
Edward : I, Edward Elrod, The King of serenity heavens, step down from the throne and make my son the new king!
The king announced as he crowned Asher in front of the millions of people who came to attend the ceremony. Everyone cheered and clapped for the new king before they went to attend the royal feast in which all the guests were invited.
The royal family stepped down from the stairs and went to their private living room where their siblings and cousins were waiting for them. Everyone congratulated Asher and finally after everyone, he went to his sister.
Asher : so finally I'm the king and now you gotta obey me, ashi!
He said with a smirk while Ashley rolled her eyes with a smiled and smacked his head.
Ashley : no matter what you become, you will still be younger than me. My little brother.
Ashley said and Asher sulked with a pout.
Ashley : now you will know that being a king is no fun. You will have dozens of work everyday and meetings to attend Everyone couple of days.
Ashley teased Asher and he gave a cheeky grin back.
Asher : I don't need to worry when you're my personal assistant.
He said with a shrug and teasing smirk, making her roll her eyes.
Ashley : yup. I'll need to watch over your ass even after the mister became a king.
Asher : that much you can do for your little brother, can't you?
Edward : okay, stop teasing your sister, Asher.
Their father said approaching them with their mother and the youngsters bowed at elders.
Marshall : look how fast the time passes. Yesterday, They were so tiny in our embrace, wrapped in tiny blankets and now they are the king and assistant.
Their mother said while cupping their cheeks with a tear dropping from her eyes which she wiped immediately.
Edward : I'm proud of each one of you.
He said while looking at his children and wife. They all did a group hug and separated not so long after. They went to their other relatives and special guests.
After chatting for some time, everyone went to the grand royal dining hall and started the grand feast.
Ashley : look at you, staring at a princess like a creep! Are these your manners?
Ashley whispered in asher's ears as she scolded him ignoring the elder's talks.
Asher : she looked at me first so I'm looking at her to catch her staring at me red handed. Then I'll ask her what she wants from me.
Asher whispered back with furrowed and Ashley looked at him with a 'are-you-serious' face.
Ashley : you can just read her mind, Dumbo! You'll know exactly what she wants.
Ashley rolled her eyes at her dumb brother and looked at the young princess who was nervously eating her meal and read her mind.
"Now what I'm gonna do!? H-he caught me staring at him! I'm such a creep! He'll kick me out for sure! His sister will cut me into pieces! Why did I even look at him!? Please someone save me! I don't wanna die!"
Ashley looked at Asher with a is-she-serious face and he had the same one meaning he also read her mind just now.
Ashley : you don't look that bad.
