A calm and soothing silence greeted Atsushi as he awoke. He fluttered his eyes open and looked around his room slowly. He yawned, then his eyes widened in shock.

His room was absolutely trashed. The furniture splintered and broke beyond repair. 'What the hell...' He made a small movement in an attempt to sit up. However, his action was slightly prevented by a sleeping figure by his side. Elise lay near him, her head slightly leaning on the side of his leg.

"Ah, you're awake..." A voice called out by the doorway. Atsushi turned his head to spot Mori watching him.

"Mori-san?" Atsushi was confused. What were these two doing in his room, and what happened to it?

"Last night was surely an interesting turn of events." Mori said, walking forward to where Atsushi was sitting. He kneeled down in front of him, making an eye smile, seemingly waiting for Atsushi to question what he meant.

That he did. "W-what happened here? Why is my room trashed up like this?" Atsushi asked. "And why are you two here?"

"My, my... Calm down shōnen." Mori chuckled. "The situation had been dealt with last night."

Atsushi opened his mouth, but closed it instead. He wanted to listen to what Mori had to say.

"I had my suspicions the moment I saw you, and when I heard your little story... Of course I waited it out to prove my hypothesis... As well as whether you would be beneficial to the Port Mafia." Mori smiled, seemingly happy with whatever he discovered last night. "I must admit, that ability of yours is rather strong. Man eating tiger."

Atsushi jerked back at the mention of the word tiger. "What!? It was here last night!? Is this why my room has been trashed and damaged? Wh-what happened...?" Atsushi was at a loss for words.

Having heard the commotion, and the shouting from Atsushi, Elise stirred awake. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, leaning away from Atsushi. She sighed, listening to how this situation would be dealt with.

'The tiger had been here last night, with him, alone.' At least that is what he thought.

"Oh no, no, shōnen. You are the tiger..." Mori said flatly.

"What... No... You— You are wrong..." Atsushi muttered, looking at Mori blankly.

"Oh, but I am right dear shōnen." Mori paused before continuing. "Don't you remember how I found it odd that you were kicked out of your orphanage alone, all because of lack of food. Additionally, both Elise and I had fought you in your tiger form. My, you were a rather tough opponent."

Seeing as Atsushi did not respond, the man continued, "There are a couple of cameras hidden around the Port Mafia, and that includes this specific room, if you wish to see for yourself." Mori pointed at the ventilation, where a small red light could be seen, possibly indicating that a camera was live, and recording.

"But— Ability? What does this all mean?" Atsushi asked in a hushed tone.

"An excellent question shōnen!" Mori exclaimed. Atsushi flinched slightly.

"A select few individuals, such as yourself and I, have special abilities." Mori brought a finger to his chin. "You can think of them like super powers... They have weaknesses and strengths, as well as requirements. You, shōnen, have the ability to transform into a tiger during the night. Perhaps during moonlight..."

Atsushi stared at Mori rather dumbfounded, and sighed. "I— Please show me the footage of last night, Mori-san."

Mori nodded at his request and stood up straight. He extended a hand out for Atsushi to stand up, which Atsushi accepted. Elise followed in the action, of standing up, shortly after.

The three walked out of Atsushi's room and headed towards the surveillance room. It was deftly guarded by the men in black. However, upon seeing Mori the men moved aside, granting full access to the room. Mori slightly nodded his head at the chivalrous action before leading Atsushi and Elise inside.

The room was rather spacious, yet felt suffocating. There were computers on desks almost everywhere, and a couple of enormous TV screens in the front. A few people sat at the desks working on the computers, working hastily.

Mori walked to the front of the room to the main computer. He sat down and logged in, quickly surfing through the surveillance camera footage. He explored the contents until he stumbled across the named camera in Atsushi's room. He grinned and clicked the footage, accessing it.

The large TV screen then presented the trio, as well as the workers at their desks, a view of Atsushi in his room. It all seemed completely normal until moonlight soaked into the room. From there on Atsushi could be seen violently jerking and tearing at the bed. There were painful whimpers and screeches of a human, of Atsushi. Then there were roars, animalistic, tiger-like.

Atsushi paled as he watched himself transform into the form of a tiger. His tiger form checked its surroundings until it pounced and clawed at anything. Everything. He began trashing the room into ruins. He kept roaring.

Atsushi continued watching, seeing how Mori and Elise entered the room and discovered him. They fought him with much force, and even dirty tactics. 'Mori-san sure knows how to use a syringe...' Atsushi noted. He also noticed how Elise seemed supernatural in the footage. She was glowing a pink aura, floating around and carrying an insanely large syringe. 'No one as small and feeble as Elise looked would be strong enough to carry that. However, Elise did.'

"That, shōnen, was your ability. A Beast Beneath the Moonlight." Mori said, attempting to follow Atsushi's thoughts.

"I— This is just so much..." Atsushi muttered. "I don't know what to say."

"Hmm... That's completely fine. It is a normal response." Mori smiled quite reassuringly.

"Right..." Atsushi added, looking down.

"It's alright Sushi-Chan! You still fit at home here with us!" Elise exclaimed. "There are many more here at the Port Mafia who are like you, and others who would be willing to help you."

Atsushi turned to Elise and smiled gratefully. He was happy to hear such kind words.

"Thanks Elise." Atsushi said. "Are you also an ability user like me then?"

"Nope!" Elise exclaimed, popping her "p."

"Elise is my own ability." Mori intervened before Atsushi could question her. "My ability, Vita Sexualis, allows me to summon and configure her however I would like."

"So, if you wanted she could look like someone else completely, and have their strengths?" Atsushi asked.

Mori nodded, "Well, yes, but she would not be able to use another's ability."

Atsushi nodded in understanding. "I see... What a day this has been."

Mori logged off from the computer and stood up from the chair. He then headed out of the surveillance room, beckoning Elise and Atsushi to follow. They exited and made their way down the hallways.

"So, what happens to everything in my room now?" Atsushi asked shyly.

"It can be dealt with, shōnen." Mori said, not sparing a glance backwards.

The three continued walking in utter silence. It was awkward, but Atsushi did not mind after all of the information thrown at his face in the morning. He needed a breather, and silence could guarantee that.

That is until a man approached the three. A short ginger stood there glaring at Atsushi, confused by his presence. "Boss, who is this?" The man questioned almost snarl like. The tone was defensive, as were his inner thoughts.

Author's note: Pictures are too difficult to add, I think I will do without them from now on, unless they miraculously function properly again.

Also, I do not plan on abandoning this project, but will note I am incredibly busy right now. Thank you for reading!
