"Atsushi is going to shadow Rapoe but I was hoping you could join as well to keep an eye on the both of them and make sure nothing goes wrong with the two."

You stared at the blonde man a bit annoyed since you'd be stuck with babysitting. You let out a sigh and put on your coat before texting Osamu that you wouldn't be in the office later today.

"Alright I'll do it" You grumbled a bit and put your phone in your pockets. Kunikida looked thankful for your answer and moved to the side to reveal Ranpo eating a bunch of snacks and throwing the wrappers around while a nervous Atsushi caught all of them and threw them away in a trash can.

"Okay, Atsushi, Ranpo. (M/n) will be going and watching over the two of you to make sure nothing goes wrong" Kunikida explained to the two men. Atsushi looked a bit relieved to see a familiar face going along with him on the mission while Ranpo's face beamed upon hearing you'd come along.

"So you're joining us (M/n)? Good! I didn't want to be stuck alone with the newbie!" Ranpo hummed happily as he skipped towards you, standing at your side, and then narrowed his eyes at Atsushi who looked at him offended.

"Remember, (M/n) is there to watch over you, Nothing else. Ranpo, you're still gonna have to carry your responsibilities of showing Atsushi the ropes" Kunikida said pushing his glasses up, reminding Ranpo of the purpose of Atsushi tagging along.

The detective let out a huff as he turned his head, pouting like an upset child as Ranpo's hand clenched onto the side of your coat. "Fine, whatever...." Ranpo whined as he started walking, tugging on you to follow him.

You deadpanned when Ranpo so obviously ignored the white-haired boy by pretending you were the only one joining him. You looked back at Atsushi and gestured for him to tag along with you two, feeling bad that he was being left out.

The weretiger's eyes lit up and trailed closely behind you as you all walked out of the building and made your way to the train station, where you purchased the train tickets for the three of you and got onto your train ride.

"Hey (M/n)! Look at the marble I got!" Ranpo said with a smile, holding a small clear marble in front of you. One of his eyes was closed while the other looked through the translucent marble that showed your face behind it.
