>>The fallen have gotten quite daring, haven't they? << The goddess of warriors said this while holding a sword in her hand. Like all the other gods and goddesses, they were limiting themselves to physical bodies even in the realm of gods so as not to cause things to get destroyed and to enjoy things the way mortals enjoy things with their avatar bodies limitations.
>>Do not be like that; come, let us go already<< The god of the afterlife said in a grim tone, grabbing the hand of the goddess of war, and the two traveled into the realm of the spirits. The spirits were wandering aimlessly now that their physical bodies are gone, they are mostly incapable of feeling any sort of emotion. Instead, they can feel emotions that are not too complex, like fear, anger, and happiness. These are three core emotions; there is nothing more complex than these three.
>>So, the fallen are said to be trying to come here?<< The goddess asked, and the god of the afterlife nodded to her words. >>Indeed, they've been trying to swarm in here and kill the spirits<<
The goddess gave a glare towards the god and spoke: >>Why didn't you then just end them? You are still a god even if you are only a god of afterlife<< pointing out his divinity and status, but the god of afterlife was sad like a maiden: >>How could I defeat them? I'm only the god who watches over the afterlife<< The goddess felt disgusted by how the god acted and held herself back to break his avatar. They wandered across the place to the never-ending world of spirits, where there was no end to anything.
>>I cannot sense the fallen ones even trying to break from the outside to this realm<< The outside is what the god calls the place where they throw things, and these things turn to nothingness as time passes. If there was time, a thing that never existed would lose all its properties, turning to nothing.
>>That they even survived till now is impressive on its own<< The two wandered more around, using their divine senses to look across the endless spirit world but finding no flaws in this place. >>There is nothing here, even outside; there are none of the fallen; are you sure that the age isn't catching up to you<< the goddess joked around. Joking with the ages of each and every one of them while pretending to be older or younger than one another is something that the gods do not despise, as it is just one of the many ways, they try to have fun in such a world.
>It is weird that no fallens came here, even if I joke around; he wouldn't make a mistake like that< She took a step; her senses as a warrior were all there, she would not get caught off guard. In this moment, right here, there was no greater warrior than her. >There you are< She stabbed the sword into a "gap" as it could be called. This gap that she hit was like the outside, a place of nothingness.
>>How did they even go into the gap<< The god of afterlife mumbled as he looked at the gap and how bodies fell into this place, and the avatar corpses of the fallen were falling through the gap. >>That's why I didn't sense them at the moment<< the gap because of how similar it is to the outside. It was outside the domain of the gods, and their powers could not affect anything inside of it.
So anything that survives there in any possible way is an impressive being, to say the least, and the gap was basically the same as the outside, just that they could appear in any of the three realms existing: the sea of worlds, the spirit world, the realm of concepts, and the realm of gods that was on top of the place and where the gap could not appear.
>>Could it be...there are actually some damn gods who are helping these fallen?<< The act of a god helping a fallen is not a real thing and not even what the fallen want. When a god helps a fallen, it is nothing but for the act, so the mortals have more of a challenge, but right now this was not part of the act; they were not watching what was happening in the sea of life, but they were in the realm of spirits, a place that wasn't part of the show.
