Jack was looking at a priestess. She wore a white robe that covered her entire body except her face. Her face was, however, covered with the thing covering it being nothing but a white veil. All that Jack could make out of her was that she had light skin for a human. He did not look at her other parts that would distinguish her but only her skin and any other feature that may show what she was.
The divine energy that came out of her was quite a lot. There was, however, no discomfort from it anymore for Jack. The discomfort of divine energy did not bother Jack anymore benevolently or malevolently, he saw no difference between the two anymore.
Her eyes were a deep shade of brown, lips that were a light shade of pink and a face that was flawless, a pinnacle of beauty one may say. That beauty, however, her eyes no matter how perfect she seemed, how innocent her appearance may seem and even if she was the pinnacle of beauty itself, he felt nothing towards her. He thought of if he should fight her, attack her when she least expects it there were many things, he could do to attack her or just do nothing to see what awaits him.
>>Oh? What are you doing here? << her voice sounded innocent but had authority in it. She was not too close to Jack there being a meter or so between the two. She was barehanded holding no weapon or anything that could be used as a weapon. When Jack remained silent, she smiled.
>>I didn't expect you to answer it however if you were to tell me what you do here it would be good<< she remained with her smile that she had not changing it which however would also seem scary for some seeing her smile like a doll showing no emotions except that while hiding her emotions behind an innocent voice. Jack took a step back planning to run when he saw she was not moving but only looking, he then started to run. He was not running out of fear as he felt no fear anymore, but he ran because there was no gain of fighting her except constant death he may get more memories, get new knowledge of how to become stronger but what meaning does strength have in the end when something ends and dies it all is for naught.
A shot of divine energy hit the back of Jack. The beam was not hitting his head alone as it may have seemed from outside instead it was a hit to Jack brain the part of Jack brain it had hit was the cerebral cortex the attack on it caused Jack to immediately fall unconscious without moving even a single limb of his. She stood beside Jack.
She then saw her comrades having teleported to her with Oryn being the first to say in an annoyed tone: >>Where the hell where you did you decide to just not do anything this time<< Maria rolled her eyes from hearing that and ignored Oryn remarks about her. She did not feel like wasting her time by arguing with Oryn.
>>Oryn instead of being annoyed how about you look at the person behind her<< Serlo says which Oryn then looks he sensed the small amount of death and life force that was in Jack. The amount was truly small, something that even the weakest dark mages would surpass easily, which surprised Oryn even more.
>>How is this dark mage so weak!?<< he asks and then looked at Maria to see if she knows anything, but she shook her head and started to explain the situation: >>I intended to come when I sensed death force that was not coming from any of our comrades, so I went to investigate it which I found him he stood there watching the fight of ours we have against the invaders he then ran which I shut down a part of his brain keeping him alive by using my divine energy we can heal him when we are back at the kingdom to interrogate him<<
Oryn grabbed Jack carrying him easily on his shoulder carrying him like a bag of potatoes. Oryn looked at Jack and his eyes he saw it clearly with him being now so close to Jack face to face he felt the death force now much clearly.
>Seems the further one is the less his death force goes out is it maybe all contained like a cage in him that makes it hard for one to get a full glimpse? < Oryn was wondering all of it he felt the spirits the countless ones and his death force that he had in him, but he was also aware that it wasn't all of Jack there were more of it in him. A dark magician like that was interesting for Oryn having lots of death force itself is not an indication of power as something like that can always be increased by a being all they need is to be able to absorb death force or have death force stored in them.
