Chapter Summary: Cid is a Side Character in a Hentai World, Shadow decides to screw over hentai logic.

Several weeks had passed since Shadow had become Atomic and eradicated a whole bandit camp and turned it into a whole lake.

The incredible destructive power he had emitted through mana were felt by several expert sorcerers, and both Elf Goddess and Dark Elf Queen.

One was scared and one was interested. After all.....

"Who is that man, and why is he killing so indiscriminately? That power.... It's too destructive...." Was a certain Elf Goddess's comment on him.

She couldn't see beyond his mask, she couldn't even see through his soul, as if her precognitive abilities were blocked by him.

And of course, she was too focused on him to care about the other Shadow Garden Members.

Meanwhile, a certain Dark Elf Queen opened her eyes, looking at the direction where Shadow's energy is located.

"What form of power do I feel? It's coming from the south, and I suppose somebody from their side is becoming stronger.... Celestine, what will you do? Will you turn him into your subordinate, or will I catch whoever is responsible?" She wondered, leaning her head sideways and resting it towards her palm.

But then she stood up with conviction on her eyes.

"When will we meet, mysterious woman, or man? Will I be stronger than you through the energy gathered from negative emotions of the people, or will you be my equal? Hmph.... Impossible."

On the other side, Cid, who was in his real body sneezed thrice, and due to this, Claudia was immediately worried about him, asking if he had colds from the winter.

He rejected that claim, wondering what had happened to Klaus now that he had a girlfriend all of a sudden.

She even is a big breasted woman belonging to a harem anime!

"Damn, you're lucky... For an NPC" Cid commented, silently muttering the last three words.

Now that the three are close again, Cid decided to act more like a younger brother, not a mere mob since he 2as aware that he was a character in Claudia's backstory.

Several events unfolded in the daylight, such as Grave acting more like a proper father to the three of them now that Klaus is months away from being married to a high ranking noble.

He's probably wrong, but if Grave really had a change of heart, then less drama plots will happen. Probably.

Other than training, he's also tried adjusting to his daily life, meaning less work as Shadow and more work as Cid.

But, with the increasing amount of events that involved him, it was beginning to pull him away from becoming his dream mob character.

He guessed he was right those years ago, he was becoming a Side Character the more he literally just exists as the Main Protagonist's brother.

So what about his activities as Shadow, and about his Shadow Garden?

He gained reports that Shadow Garden was growing in members, and it's now around 500 since 4 years ago.

Certain Princess Knights have been recruited as members of Shadow Garden, but he hasn't really met the two of them yet. And it seems like a Tiefling from a race of succubi had joined their ranks, too.

That was pretty strange, but it didn't really matter to him.

He's also been a certain shadowy figure slaying countless monsters that had invaded a town in Ansur just months ago.

But sheesh, the moment he saw ogres using dead-eyed, broken women as armor strapped onto their bodies as literal onaholes. It looked so strange that Shadow/Cid immediately realized: "Dang, this ain't an Erotic World, this is straight out of a H-anime!"

He also found out that some of the weaker and younger of the Shadow Garden Members were getting treated similarly, so he decided to find a way so that won't happen again since he gained a form of growing affection for them.... Hundreds of them.

And to put it in words: "As much as I fantasized these events, I'm not too sure if I wanted to let some dumb event to happen to them again."

Turns out, there were originally 500 and more of the Shadow Garden, and reports did speak that less discipline, and lack of faith and Shadow's interaction were the only reasons to conclude that.....

He hasn't deepened the bonds to these girls like a true H-anime protagonist, meaning having sex with them.

Like he cared, it wouldn't really affect his journey as Shadow the Stylish Bandit Slayer, but as Shadow, the Master of Garden.

He does his bonding sessions when he has his free time. And of course, he does it rarely since he is preoccupied on his usual job being the shadowy person fighting evil under the Darkness.

This persona of his is something he verily takes seriously.

It isn't even the time he fully reveals his and Shadow Garden's presence to the world, anyways.

Now let's get into a slight world building that Shadow would want to use.

On the south, lies a desert he desired to go to, sooner than he is acting in Eostia. Its name is Eldonia, and he really felt like he could go there any time soon.

Yet, as the upcoming Tournament Arc of Claudia's life is coming in just a few days, he really felt like he couldn't go commit "Lord Shadow's Greatest World Tour Quest!", and that's pretty sad.

Waiting inside a carriage with the whole Levantine Family, he waited until they were in the Fortress City of Geofu which was in the distance.

Due to the silence permeating around the area, Grave opened his mouth, his gaze stern as much as his excitement and expectations were growing.

He looked pretty cautious, really.

"So who will fight for the Levantine's noble name?" He asked, and Claudia raised her hand alongside Cid, who immediately pulled down his hand after a short blunder.

As expected, the sight of the two of them made Grave smile.

Klaus was silent yet he looked particularly worried about the two.

"Hey, don't get too hurt, okay? We'll be rooting for the two of you." He said, faintly smiling under his small moustache.

"Well, I don't care if your brother looks pretty weak, after all, I cannot really judge a book just because of a mere cover or a single page." His big tittied wife continued, opening her antique fan in front of her face before giving out a small chuckle.

"Haha...." Cid thought she might have read his thoughts, but because of specialized blocking spells he made, it was pretty much impossible to do so.

'.... Haha..... I could've just not put my hand up....'

He didn't mind it, since they were now a few hundred meters until they enter through the gate.

What surprises will await him in the Tournament?
