POV: TaylorAs I walked into school the next day, my mind was still buzzing with excitement from the previous evening's revelation. Ruby, my best friend and Lee's sister, had just informed me that the boys would be joining us at the ice skating rink after school. It was a thrilling prospect, and I couldn't wait to share this experience with everyone.
Suddenly, Ruby came running up to me, a wide grin on her face. "Taylor! Guess what? The boys are coming with us to the ice skating rink after school!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.
My heart skipped a beat at the news. I couldn't believe my luck. "Really? That's amazing!" I replied, a mix of surprise and joy in my voice. "I'm so glad they're joining us. It's going to be so much fun!"
Ruby nodded eagerly. "I know, right? This is going to be an unforgettable adventure. But hey, I need to swing by my house to grab my ice skating gear. Do you need a ride? I can take you on my motorcycle."
I hesitated for a moment, contemplating the offer. Riding on a motorcycle was something I had never done before, but there was a part of me that felt a thrill at the idea. "Thank you, Ruby, but I think I'll be okay. I'll take my own motorcycle there," I replied, trying to sound confident.
Ruby's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Alright, if you say so! But if any of the boys need a ride, let me know. I'll be happy to give them one."
A blush crept onto my cheeks as an idea formed in my mind. "Actually, Ruby, do you mind asking Lee if Felix needs a ride? He mentioned yesterday that he doesn't have transportation."
Ruby pulled out her phone and quickly sent a text message to Lee, asking if Felix needed a ride to the ice skating rink. My heart raced as I awaited the response.
A few moments later, Ruby's phone buzzed with a reply. She read the message and then turned to me, a mischievous grin on her face. "Lee says Felix does need a ride! Looks like you'll get to spend some quality time with him on the way to the rink."
My face grew warmer, and I couldn't help but feel a mixture of nervousness and excitement. "Okay," I managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper.
With our plans now set, Ruby and I rushed to our respective classes, eager for the school day to end so we could embark on our ice skating adventure. The hours seemed to drag on, but finally, the final bell rang, signaling the end of the day.
We met up at the designated spot, where Ruby and the boys were already waiting. And then we take them to the back of the school.
