"Pete, kaw na muna bahala ha?" Rachel was running through the things Peter has to do today.
Peter pouted. "Aalis ka nanaman. Pasalubong ha. Ako na bahala. Wag kang magpakapagod dun"
"Daily flight is tiring, Pete. Pero ginusto ko to. So, need ko panindigan"
"Just for a birthday gift ha."
Rachel smiled. "More than just a gift, Pete. Mika is special."
Peter smiled, trying to hide his kilig. "Ayaw pa umamin kasi. Sige na. Ako na bahala sa kinabukasan mo"
That made Rachel laughed. "I'll be back. Don't miss me much"
"As if. Baka ikaw pa una makamiss sa akin"
"Bye"

"Ms. MD"
The latter sighed deeply. "I'm sorry for what happened last time. I owe you an apology"
"Understood po. I get where you're coming from."
"I know I was way out of line. Do you want to have dinner with me tonight as my way of making it up with you."
Mika smiled at the thought. "Okay na po, miss. I already have plans tonight"
"Next time?"
"Okay lang po. I mean, we're having team dinner naman po next week. You might want to join us, have fun and celebrate since acceptance nalang po ni Ms. Rachel need natin."
"Will do. Please do ask my secretary to free me up that day. Thank you for your hardwork, Mika. Please do know that I don't intend to hurt you."
"Okay na po" Mika smiled whole-heartedly. "I know you're hurt, Ms. MD. People go through that phase sometimes. I am not one to harbor feelings. Sige po, kakain na po kami"
Mika walked out of MD's office feeling a lot lighter and better.
She headed straight back to her friends in the pantry with lots of food at the table. She was confused as she remembered they ordered from a fast food restaurant and not some eat all you can buffet.
"San galing?"
"Sa akin." He walked towards her with an ice cream tub on his hand. "Bakit? May angal ka? Happy birthday" Mika looked everywhere else. Peter had to laugh. "Wala man lang thank you? Hinahanap agad boss ko?"
It's true. She was looking for her.
"Thank you, Peter."
He shrugged at naupo na. "If you're looking for Rachel, she's not here. Kumain ka na bago ko pa isubo sayo yan"
"Alam mo? Ang sweet mo. Kaya ka siguro walang jowa"
"Baka mangisay ka kapag nilagawan ko boss ko" Peter smirked, and that statement earned him a nice pinch on his thigh making him flinch. "Sakit ha. Kumain ka na. Eat well daw."
Mika rolled her eyes.
Well, she didn't really expect her to be here. It's just that Peter is here, so she should be?
Right?
But maybe this time, Rachel can't ditch work.
"Sana all may tropang CEO" Sambit ni Ara habang kumukuha ng mga trip niyang kainin.
"Wag ka mag-alala, matutupad yang pangarap mo pag nakapagpatayo na ako ng business" Mika boast.
Ara nodded. She does supports her friend's dream. "Sige, stockholder mo ako ha"
