Mika visited Beatriz and Ara. The three had lunch near their office. Kinumusta nila si Mika at tinanong how her transition was sa kanyang bagong work.
Although it's still the same as she's still a project manager in title, she's doing more to help Rachel. She doesn't mind as she's really paid well. Minsan nga ay nahihiya nalang siya kapag walang ginagawa, but it wasn't Rachel's quote. With her experience and every training she had, her salary was just right.
"Kayo? Kumusta naman bago niyong PM?" Tanong ni Mika sa kanila.
"Well, team composition is still the same pero we were given light task. Miss ko na nga yung overtime natin"
"Huy, tama na. Ayoko na mag overtime. Pagod na pagod na ako" singit ni Ara at natawa nalang silang dalawa.
"Umuwi ka kasi agad. Hindi yung kung saan saan ka pa pumupunta" kumento ni Mika.
"Ganun talaga kapag mahal mo, you'd like to make their lives easier. Kaya wag na mag overtime please lang. Bea, masyado kang alipin ng salapi"
"Slight"
"Agree. Not worth it ang tax deduction" dagdag pa ni Mika. "By the way, I'm planning na ipakilala si Rachel kanila mama" Nagkatinginan naman si Ara at Beatriz bago muling ibalik ang tingin kay Mika. "I know I'm inviting war."
"Ready ka na ba maitakwil?" Vic chuckled. As being friends with Mika already have some nasty comments from her mother, what more if Mika is in a relationship with another girl. "I mean knowing your mom ha."
Huminga naman nang malalim si Mika at uminom ng juice. "I know. Pero I really don't care anymore. Alam ko that day will turn tables, pero I'm hoping that in the future we might come to terms."
"I wish you luck" sabay abot ni Ara sa balikat niya para tapikin.
"And I'm selling my condo, baka gusto niyo" Mika chuckled. "I need money."
"I'll help you na i-alok" singit ni Bea na nakangiti nang malapad. "Are you already living with Ms. Rachel?"
"Kinda? Umuuwi lang ako sa condo kapag kailangan ko maglinis dahil bibisita sila mom. Else, I do stay at hers. Di ko lang kayo mainvite, di ko naman bahay yun"
"Not really a problem, we can always hang out sa place ko or ni Ara" sagot ni Bea. "Pero huy, I wish you well ha. Whatever the outcome is, we'll have your back. I just hope your heart is as strong as your resolution. You have to be ready."
"I know. Pero kung di naman nila matatanggap si Rachel, problema na nila yon" she chukled.
"Yan! That's the spirit" sagot ni Vic.
When lunch time was over, the three bid their goodbyes.

"Am I overdressed?" Mika asked Rachel. She was wearing a padded cut out straight leg jumpsuit.
"What makes you think you're overdressed?" Rachel chuckled and walked towards her and slightly brushed her lover's hair. "But I do suggest you wear pants, mahirap na— baka kabahan ka and you'll use the bathroom frequently" pang-aasar nito.
"Right, I'm changing" Mika changed to a white mandarin collared 3/4 sleeves and black trousers that really gives justice on her long legs. "Okay na?"
"You look good, darling."
"You and your endearments" they both chuckled.
Rachel held her waist and gave her a smile. "Are you ready to meet your parents?"
Mika looked into her eyes. "I'm not and I think I will never be" an honest answer she had to say out loud. "But because I love you, I hope we can do this flawlessly."
