The Enlistment

Chapter 13

Days fly by. Yoongi has a lot of work, mainly shootings, in the Hybe building and Jimin can also be found at Hybe a lot. Together they decided to tell Bang Si-hyuk about their relationship.

They made an appointment and knock on his office door. "Come in," they hear him call and they walk into the office. They sit down at his desk and Bang Si-hyuk looks at them. "Hello Yoongi and Jimin, how are you doing," he asks. "Tell me why you are here."

Yoongi looks at Jimin and he nods at his hyung. Yoongi clears his throat and starts talking. "We are here because we would like to tell you something. Jiminie and I have been in a relationship for a few months now. Besides our other members and our family, no one else knows anything about this, but we thought it would be appropriate to inform you about this."

Bang Si-huyk looks at the two boys and says "of course I think this is great for the two of you and I'll totaly support you guys, but have you thought about how this will go during both your enlistments and possibly when you are all back together again"?

"Yes," says Yoongi, "We talk about that regularly." Jimin continues, "we love each other very much and over the past years our bond has only grown stronger. It won't always be easy and there will probably be plenty of difficult moments when we miss each other. But I am convinced that we can get through this together. We see that Jin and Hobi often have the space to send a message or even have time to eat and drink something with us and that will probably be the case with us too. So we will probably be able to meet up or send each other messages in between."

"We have a lot of support from our members and from our family, so we are very confident about this," Yoongi adds.

"Okay," says Bang Si-hyuk. "And what about your comeback in 2025, do you want to come out and tell the staff and fans that you are in a relationship or do you want to keep it a secret", he asks. "We don't know yet, please let's look at it at that time," says Yoongi, "then we can always see if it is wise to announce it".

"Allright, well I wish you all the happiness in the world, of course, you are a beautiful couple. Enjoy the last week and a half. I'm going to announce your entlistment date next Sunday via Weverse, maybe you could do one last live afterwards to say goodbye to Army," he says to Yoongi.

"The following week you will have to report to the base headquarters early on Friday morning" Bang Si-hyuk adds. "Don't forget that you also have to visit the hairdresser this week."

Yoongi nods and says goodbye to Bang Si-hyuk. They walk to Yoongi's studio to talk some more.

Now that Yoongi is still so busy finishing all his work, Jimin decides to surprise Taehyung at his promotional appearance at Musicbank. Once inside, Jimin decides to take a seat in the front row among the Army's and when the recordings start, Jimin also waves along with his army bomb. Of course, Taehyung sees him sitting in the front row and indicates that he is happy that he is there. When the recording is over, Jimin goes to Taehyung and gets his own signed album from him.

They walk outside together and wave to their fans. After one last hug, they both get into their own cars and drive away. When Jimin arrives at Yoongi's house, he sees his hyung sitting on the couch in the living room. "Oh my god, hyung your hair," Jimin shouts and Yoongi laughs. "Yes, it has been a long time since it has been so short, I have to get used to it myself," says Yoongi. Jimin runs his hands through his boyfriend's hair and kisses him on the lips. "What was it like at Taehyung's promotions," Yoongi asks. "It was very nice to be among the fans, he did very well during the recordings," says Jimin.

"Shall we prepare something to eat or would you like to order something?" Jimin asks. "Let's be lazy today and order something," Yoongi says, grabbing his phone. "I have to do a few more shoots tomorrow and a live on Sunday and then I'm done. Then we can do some fun things with my parents. They will come this way on Sunday," he says. "Maybe we can at least have something to eat together after your live and then we'll see," says Jimin.

After they eat, they cuddle on the couch together while watching TV. "Just another week," Jimin thinks and then I will see him less often. He grabs Yoongi's arm tightly and snuggles even closer to Yoongi. He feels Yoongi kiss the top of his head. "I love you, baby," he hears Yoongi say softly. "I love you too," Jimin says, looking up at Yoongi. He kisses Jimin's lips softly and asks "have you thought about what you are going to do during the day when I am not there?"

"Well," says Jimin, "I've been making tiktoks for a while with all kinds of dances from our BTS songs. Recently I was already looking around with my own songs and now I'm working on a choreography on Face Off".

"I am of course very busy with my surprise project."

"I will also focus more on my workout, so that I am fit when I go for my enlistment. And I will certainly still have a lot of work in my agenda. Or I will go with the other members to do some fun things".

They continue to cuddle together on the couch for a long time until it is time to go to bed. They get dressed, brush their teeth and lie down on the bed, cuddling each other. "I love you sweet Jiminie, never forget that," Yoongi says and kisses Jimin tenderly on his lips. "I love you too Yoon, with all my heart," Jimin says as he closes his eyes and they fall asleep together.
