I was taken to the Dean's office by one of the lectures who got called by one of the students who was at the scene.
My eyes must've been puffy or at least teary because the man kept giving me tissues and I just wanted my husband with me. I'm pretty weak for someone who always puts up a strong front.
"Are you going to tell me what happened? And why Brandon and his friends are hurt and in the sick bay?" He asked, trying to hide his annoyance with the situation. Like I said I 'offended' the children of the owners of the university.
My phone rang at that moment and I just picked it up and answered without looking at the screen.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Where are you?" Paul asked and I choked again, tears falling this time.
"In the Dean's office. Room three in the administration block." I said, I'm sure he'll find me, the administration block is the first building you see as you enter through the main gate.
"I'll be there don't say anything to him." Paul instructed and I nodded for reasons unknown.
"That was very rude, taking a call when I asked you a question." The man in front of me said. I really want to punch him in the throat and feed all that belly of his to the pigs.
"Sir you can't go in th-" I heard commotion outside before Paul busted through the door of the office.
"Are you alright?" He asked as soon as he saw me seated on the chair in front of the Dean's table. He approached me and examined my face and I hissed at his hand on my cheek, it felt swollen.
"Who are you?" The dean asked and Paul glared at him coldly and I shuddered in the man's place.
"Who did this you? And where's Marcus?!" He yelled and I flinched and started crying again. I swear I'm not this much of a crybaby, I don't know why my emotions are all over the place.
"Shit" Paul cursed and engulfed me in a hug.
"It's ok, I'm sorry baby, don't cry. I'm right here, I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere." He comforted me and I was a fool to let out a pathetic sob out of my mouth and hugged him tightly as if to mold our bodies together.
After a few minutes, I hiccuped and steadied my breath and Paul let go of me and wiped my tears from my face.
"It's ok, I'm right here ok? Everything's going to be alright, yeah?" He reassured me and nodded my head. He kissed my cheeks and both my eyes, he was being extra touchy today. Come to think of it, I've never confirmed his sexuality, but since he's marrying me I assumed he was attracted to men or something, but one things for sure, he wasn't straight.
He stood up and sat on the chair next to me, he was crouched down all this time, his hand in mine.
"Now explain yourself." Paul stated to the dean and it took both me and the dean by surprise.
"E-excuse me?" He asked.
"You heard me. Why was my wife crying?" He asked, and my heart skipped a beat at the title. I'm his wife, his male wife because I'm damn well not his husband, he's the head of the family not me.
"Marcus got into a fight with the bunch of assholes who bully me." I answered before the dean could speak. Paul looked at me with concern, then turned to glare at the dean and the man visibly flinched.
"Release my wife's bodyguard. And I'd like to get my wife transferred on top of that." Paul said and I looked at him in shock. I worked hard to get into this bitchy school and my mother used some of her savings to get me here and this man is now asking I be moved from this school.
