Walking into the great hall I finally felt like my life was back to normal, I missed everything at Hogwarts so much. The floating candles that lit the warm feeling room. The long tables representing each house. The snickers from students. It all felt so nostalgic.
I made my way towards the Slytherin table after giving Anna a quick hug and telling her I'd catch up with her after dinner. "There she is." Regulus walks up beside me with a smiley face that I didn't get to see often, or at least around other students. "Miss me already?" I joke. She lets out a soft chuckle before his face goes back to its usual solum expression.
"No, but I think someone else does." He nudges me letting a smirk break across his face. "Who?" I cock an eyebrow tilting my head to the side. "Well my brother never took his eyes off you on the train and he's currently watching you from his table." Reggie leans down towards my ear so only I can hear him. I advert my gaze towards the Gryffindors table and immediately lock eyes with the same silver eyes I try so hard to hate. I quickly turn back to Regulus trying to fight off the blush that's making its way to my cheeks."He's most likely planning his next prank to make my life miserable." I explain. he gives me a look telling me he doesn't believe a word. "Mhm, I'm sure." We both sit down beside one another looking around the table greeting our fellow Slytherins.
"Our favorite couple has arrived!" Jack Harbor announces as he sits down across from us. Jack was one of regulus' 'friends'. The tall muscular boy always had a smirk and something smart to say. "Hate to burst your bubble, Jack but Reggie and I are not dating." I send him a smile. He was always joking around but was nice to me, and being related to a family of Gryffindors in Slytherin that was hard to come across.
"Not talking about Regulus." He smiles. I cock an eyebrow. "I heard you've still got eyes for Severus" He wiggles his eyebrows making my face drop. Not again.
"Where'd you hear that?" Already knowing the answer. "Everyone's talking about it. A lot more than in second year." He gives me a smirk. "Jack, I don't have a thing for Severus." I look at him honestly so he'll believe me.
"Well you better start making signs cause it's the topic of the day." It was our first day and Sirius has already tried making my life miserable.
"Who told you this?" Regulus speaks up. "Nobody, I overheard some Ravenclaws talking about it, something about how they heard you've like him since first year and you had a creepy shrine. Something like that." Jack says it like it's the most normal thing.
"I'm gonna fucking kill him!" I slam my hands on the table, I could feel my temper rising. "Potter vs Black! I Love when this happens!" He leaned over the table acting overly interested. "How'd you know she was talking about Sirius?" Reggie asks.
"She threatens his life like everyday, It's not hard to put two and two together." He shrugs his shoulders crossing his arms.
"Regulus I'm gonna go stab your brother, I'll be back." I smile sweetly as I stand up. "Oh she's pissed, She always acts overly sweet when she's really mad." Jack smiles like a kid on Christmas's morning. "Jack, Shut up." Reggie rolls his eyes."She might actually kill him this time."
