Surreal, confronting such a sight was a symptom of the universe Naruto had never contemplated- envisioned himself beholding. There was constructing occurring from where he was jumping across the branches, that of the very buildings and markings he had grown up knowing as staples of his village. Yet, in gazing he could also see the foundations of unfamiliar structures- perhaps what had been already demolished in his time, or perhaps it was a product of this alternative reality. Discomfort was already implanted within the base of his spine, spinning mentality as he was still comprehending his new anatomy- and he had not yet sat to contemplate such change; there had been no time to do so. This, the sight of a far more deconstructed version of the village he had known was a snag onto the string of understanding he was barely grappling with- the river of his thoughts was harsh and rapid already. They landed on the pathway towards where the front of what he had known the gates to have been. That too was only within the beginning of becoming a path, it was formed merely by trampled grass and was far thinner then what he had known.
"Be prepared, we do not know our circumstance- there is possibility we will not be welcomed, slim though that may be." Though he was ready to follow those instructions, Naruto's brow was pinched with both disconcertion and umbrage. "You will be silent, I will speak." Though Madara paid no heed to the minor glower cast his way as he walked slightly ahead- the marrings on his back, by the intensity of his vibrating nerves- seemed to be all the more prominent unto Naruto. There were no walls surrounding, but there was a clear distinction that this was an occupied area, guards were stationed within the trees- though he could sense no chakra from them, Naruto did know they hung in wait. Two men stood at the fore, both in light cloth with the tones of green and brown, with brown hakama and dark green haori, on their hips were simple katana. Their hair cut short above the shoulders.
While unreasonable the blond found himself squirming mentally as they turned to look; Naruto had never gone on a true stealth mission, so the feeling of apprehension he typically felt was due to potential violence in the village- that was not life risking. No one reached for their weapons, no tension creased their shoulders, though their stares were hard enough to be cautious with.
"Madara-sama, welcome back." Despite the plain relief unto both of them with the other man being recognized, the Uchiha spoken of did not give an indication of ease. No sign of a calmer palette- Naruto stood behind though he was well aware a stoicism remained firm on the man's visage. One of the guards looked directly onto himself, and the blond did stiffen with the sharp sting of his glare. Yet, that cutting expression did not stay for long at all- indeed the express became softened, lines loosening around the brow, a gentle tilt at the corners of the mouth taking it away from an irate frown. Naruto tilted his head for confusion of the shift, alas the man did not direct his question onto him; rather he turned to Madara.
"An Omega?" Unfortunately, Naruto could not control his initial reactions onto sudden information and keep blank expression when confused, and his face scrunched up in uncertainty- though it was hardly a concern as neither guard was glancing his way. Which had the man at a slight unease, even if he had come with a respected figure, would he not at least be observed with skepticism? Cerulean eyes shifted quickly to his companion in bid for understanding.
"Yes, abandoned by his clan." Impressed by Madara's ability to sound so assured without a margin as to what they referred, the blond almost gapped in open wonderment for the skill in the lie- he refrained however. Though he was nary saddened by the comprehension he was not infact insulted, nor indeed, disheartened by the lie; for he had been abandoned by his clan- the village was no longer his family. Presently it was only a matter of adapting to this new life, without presenting as an odyssey- in truth, Naruto was more concerned for his companion then himself, Madara would have social expectations behind himself- a history within this land as to whom he was, how he acted. The blond knew such scrutiny would not land on his shoulders as hard as it would upon the Uchiha beside him.
