"Ms. Dervine, what do you think about this?"

I looked at Gia's laptop, my left brow raised when I saw a draw miniature building. "Okay? I'm in law school, not an architect." I went back to reading my book.

"I was just distracting you!" She laughed

"Quit doing it."

"Bored na ako, pota, labas muna kasi tayo!?" She ignored me.

I nodded, "hm-"

"You nodded, is that a yes!?"

I leaned back to my chair. "No, I nodded because I understand what I was reading." I took of my glasses to look at her seriously. Hindi ko makuhang mainis kay Gia, I'm actually glad she's in my apartment. "You can go outside and buy foods," I wore my glasses and went back to reading. "Buy me ramen, too." Pahabol ko.

I heard her murmured something but I was to occupied to actually understand what she said. She still left after that, wearing my clothes from head to toe. Again, she didn't bring any of her clothes.

Pagkalabas ni Gia ay tumahimik ang buong apartment, I sighed and continued reading and jotting down in my notes. I was also wearing a headset so I wasn't aware about the surroundings.

My phone flashed and it revealed a unknown number was calling me. Hindi ko sinagut ang tawag at tinakpan na lamang ng unan ang telepono.

I lost of counts with how Gia has been outside. I stopped reading ang just cleaned the living room and kitchen, Gia's going to cook so might as well clean the kitchen for her.

I checked the clock and noticed Gia had been outside for almost an hour... She usually gets done just by 30 minutes. Nasa tapat lang din ng building na 'to ang convenience store na binibilhan niya, or maybe she went to other store?

When I was satisfied with the cleanliness, I walked to the living but my eyes cought the balcony's sliding door open so I went to the balcony to close it. Nawala na isip ko na dapat ko palang tawagin sa Gia kaya dumiretso pa ako sa kwarto para i-check kung may susuotin pa ba si Gia bukas. Thank god I shopped clothes yesterday.

The moment I closed the bathroom's door, i heard a weird noises coming from outside, so I assumed Gia was already home. I sighed and was so ready to lash at her... But I was surprised when she didn't bring any food, aside from ramen.

She was only holding it, with no cellophane or bags. She was also panting, she was about to sat in the couch but when she saw me approaching, she immediately stood up. She smiled like she usually do.

"What took you so long? And... Where's the food?" I asked her, even though I wanted to ask so many things.

"Ah... Sa ibang store ako bumili, eh, naubusan sila no'ng gusto mong ramen." She chuckled. "Hindi na ako bumili ng sa akin! Busog na pala ako,"

I opened my mouth, finally had the courage to ask her... But she stopped me. "Mag-aral ka muna diyan, ako na magluluto nito," she said before she left.

That night felt so strange for me. Gia was silent, even though she was smiling and laughing, I knew she was thinking something so deeply.

Pag gising ko ay wala na si Gia sa apartment, which was so new to me because I usually have to wake her up so that she wouldn't be late to whatever her agenda's is.

I decided to text her, but I received no messages. I waited until afternoon, but still, no responses.

During my afternoon class, I was so distracted, I couldn't focus even though I had a good sleep!

The whole day was so disaster... I felt so bad I couldn't focus with the lessons earlier.

I'll just make bawi tomorrow.
