"Sobrang sayang niya, right?"

I rolled my eyes with what Blaire had said. "That guy? Sayang?" I chuckled. "Yeah, he looks good, but what do you expect from a man?"

"Wow, too harsh, ah? Parang wala naman ako sa harap mo," Adrian attempted to hit me. "Nadadamay na naman ako!"

"Ang ingay mo," Blaire shut him up. "Umalis ka nga rito, baka mapagkamalan pa akong kadugo mo."

Tinignan ko silang dalawa. "Yeah, like you guys are not twins."

The week went so fast, I didn't even realized how long I've been ignoring Gia... She just always been messaging me every morning, maybe she thinks I'm still not okay with her action... And she's right.

Gia is not just a best friend to me, she's not just a girl who knew me since kindergarten. Gia is like my sister... From another mother.

It was saturday mornin when I decided to jog since I already finished reading and studying my cases. When I checked my phone, Gia's name was the first one I noticed.

From: Georgia Astaruth Farah
Hey, just to let you know that I'm leaving for a week, I have to attend meeting in France. Your mom messaged me to keep you in touch, she told me she want you to have a lunch with them.

I titled my head. Gia knows I don't want to meet my mom again, hell I don't even want to know her anymore. And oh, I changed Gia's name in my contact.

From: Georgia Astaruth Farah
But don't worry, I told her you're coming with me : ) your mom is the worst.

From: Georgia Astaruth Farah
Anyway, I KNOW YOU CHANGED MY NAME IN YOUR CONTACT!!!

I smiled and replied to her.

To: Georgia Astaruth Farah
Lol, but thanks for shutting my mom up. Take care on your trip.

After that, I left for a jog. I was just wearing my purple long sleeve attire and some black leggings. Naka head set lang din ako at hindi na nag dala ng tubig, I was just going to jog around the condo anyway.

While I was jogging, I spotted a dog nearby. I assumed it was a boy since his collar are blue, and his leash was also blue. The dog was just sitting peacefully, watching people do their jogs too.

I stopped near him when he looked at me, tumayo pa siya at lumikot ang buntot. I find him cute so I went near him. "hello," it was the usual voice when we talk with animals. I suddenly miss my cat. "Why are you alone here?" I asked him as if he'll answer.

"Where's your owner?" Why did they left him alone here? It's dangerous for a dog to be left! Baka may makagat pa siya, or worse, he'll run away!

"What are you doing?"

I was startled when I heard a family voice. That was the voice I heard reciting a week ago!

"Petting the dog?" I answered.

"My dog?"

I looked at him confusedly. "Your dog?..."

I stopped petting the dog when I saw the dog moved to him and swing its tail. "Oh," I stood up. I gulped to remove the awkwardness from me. "You live around here?"

He picked up the dog and put him around his arms. "No, but my sister does."

Okay... Should I start a conversation? But he might think I'm interested!
