In discovering you, a treasure unfolds,
A kindred spirit, eager to hold,
The thoughts that reside deep within,
Beside me, you sit, where solace begins.

No demand to raise my voice, you make,
To be someone else, a false facade to take,
You grasp the whispers, their value profound,
As much as my shouts, their echoes resound.

Between my words, the pauses you perceive,
With eyes that answer, and hearts that believe,
"I hear you, I see you, I embrace you," they say,
My favorite person, in your presence I stay.

For you listen, not just to words I convey,
But to the unspoken, where emotions may sway.

The poem conveys the idea that finding a kindred spirit, someone who truly listens and understands us, is a valuable treasure. This person doesn't require us to pretend or raise our voices to be heard. They grasp the deeper meaning behind our words and even the unspoken emotions. Their presence brings solace and a sense of belonging. The moral of the poem is that having someone who genuinely understands and empathizes with us is incredibly important and can provide comfort and support in our lives.
