Episode 4
Later that evening, Top and Mew are eating at an extravagant restaurant overlooking the Bay of Bangkok. The restaurant is cozy, with muted lighting and small tables. At the table, there is a small candle. Top has ordered grilled fish and asparagus. Mew has the same. They both have glasses of white wine.
Top:
So, why'd you rush out of the apartment when I showed up? Who was the guy at the door?
Mew (frowns):
He was there for my roommate, Boston.
Top:
What's wrong with that?
Mew:
Eh, it's nothing major. Boston promised he wouldn't have overnight guests, but I know that guy spent the night.
Top:
Maybe they are dating?
Mew (smirks):
Boston isn't the dating type.
Top:
What makes you say that?
Mew:
Boston is about sex. That's it.
Top smirks, then takes a sip of his wine.
Mew:
There's nothing wrong with only looking for sex. I'm not judging him. I'm just saying I know Boston and that guy aren't dating.
Top:
People can change. Maybe he's changed.
Mew (laughing):
He just met that guy last night!
Top:
I just met you last night.
Mew:
Yeah, but... I hope you aren't just looking for sex from me.
Top (laughs):
Absolutely not. Maybe it's you who is doing this to have sex with me?
Mew:
Nope!
Top (chuckling):
It's okay if you want to have sex with me.
Mew blushes and grabs his wine.
Mew (as he sips):
Shut up!
Top laughs again.
The pair eat in silence for a few seconds.
Top:
You have another roommate, right?
Mew:
Ray.
Top:
Do you three get along?
Mew:
Yeah! They are my best friends. We've been roommates for almost four years now. Two years in the dorms and two years off campus.
Top:
That's a long time. You guys must have gone through some serious stuff to have stuck together for four years.
