"CONGRATULATIONS!" Tanya shouted as I opened the door. I grinned and let her and Jim pass. Less than a minute later Dan and Phil knocked on the door. We were all celebrating Caspar hitting five million subscribers. He is smiling like crazy. We eat, dance, film some videos and chat. "Brooooseph" Zoe said wrapping her arm around my neck, "you coming over tomorrow?" She asked. I looked at her and kissed her cheek "of course" she giggled and clinked champagne glasses with me. The sound of Dan's laughter filled the entire room and I looked at my roommate. I loved him. Everything about him. His effortless confidence, his body, his eyes, his mouth, his nose, his hair. Him. Nothing would change the way I felt about him. I poured another glass of champagne and sat next to Marcus. I watched as Caspar pulled Gaby in for a kiss and wrapped his arms around her, laughing at something she said. I had to look away. He was killing me but he had no idea. He thought I was straight.
After everyone had left, I sat in the armchair and but my nails, wondering if I should tell Caspar how I felt. I didn't though because I could hear him laughing with Gaby downstairs and he sounded so happy.
Two weeks later
I came home from the shops and I could hear something down stairs. Dumping the bags on the table, I went down. The noise was coming from my room. I opened the door slowly.
"Gaby?" I said as I saw a whisp of blonde hair from under the sheets.
"Oh my god Joe!" She said sitting up "I'm so sorry" she climbed out of my bed in her underwear. Then a boy I didn't recognise sat up too. "This was a bs idea. I should go" Gaby looked frustrated "Ben wait" then I heard the door slam and Caspar came downstairs, his features showed shock, horror and betrayal as he saw Gaby holding Bens hand. He stands frozen, his mouth hanging open. "How could you!" He finally says. Gaby looks down, "Caspar I'm sorry" she lets go of Bens hand and walks per to him "caspy, look at me" he looks away "caspy, please" he touches his shoulder and he bursts "don't touch me! You......bitch!" He screams at her and breaks down in tears, sinking to his knees "get out, please just go" he sobs. I sit down and hold him close to me whilst the two get dressed "casp-" I stand up "just go, Gaby" Caspar continues whimpering after they are gone and I kneel down next to him. He sobs into my shoulder and I stroke his hair "shh it's okay, it's okay" he sits up, wiping his eyes, and looks intently at me "I'm sorry" he says
"It's okay, honestly" I say stroking his cheek
"I'm so glad I have you" he says and hugs me. "How about a game of Fifa?" I laugh and help him up.
I win 6/2 so Caspar buys the pizza. We sit on he sofa leaning against eachother. I feel myself blushing as he flops his head on my shoulder carelessly. "Joe?" He says "don't leave me"
"Why would I do that?" I said laughing
"I don't know, it's stupid. I just don't want you to move out. I like our flat and living with you"
"Caspar, I would never move out" he sighs and falls asleep on my lap.
The next morning, I wake up and I'm on the sofa, Caspar still lying next to me. "Caspar" I whisper he sits up
"Hey" he says sleepily
"Ready to film?" I ask
"Of course" he says jumping up and spinning me around "
"Caspar" I yell "Caspar stop let go!" He does and I go flying across the room, landing on my ass.
Caspar is laughing so hard he starts to cry "you're a dick" he laughs harder and helps me up but my feet slip and he is lying on top of me. He stares down at me with his beautiful eyes, as his face gets closer, I think he is going to kiss me. He starts tickling me instead and I dissolve in fits. "Stop! Caspar stop!" I shout as his fingers poke into my sides. He just grins deviously and continues. Then I kiss him. He stops abruptly and stares at me in shock. "Caspar" I say. He stands up running a hand through his hair then goes downstairs slamming the door. I'm such an idiot!
