A/N: Another chapter already?!?! Anyways the photo above is what I imagine atticus's hair would be like :)

Atticus POV:

"Will you both be staying for dinner?" Emma asks "we can't really be out late" I say and jake nods along "supper's at 5:30. We eat pretty early" Emma say's "uhh we should be able to stay than! That is pretty early" Jake say's "yeah, did either of you want to change?" Emma asks, "yes please" jake replies and I shake my head no "that's ok, would you still like to tag along? You can both meet Enoch properly!" she say's and I nod.

"Here's Enoch's room, I'll get you a change of cloths Jake" Emma say's and walks away. Jake and I just look at the door. I sigh and decide to knock, we hear a 'come in!' from olive and we walk in to see Enoch working on something. I wave at olive and she waves back.

"Well, you must feel pretty out of place" Enoch says looking at Jake "don't worry, I'm used to it" jake replies sighing "oh, I wasn't worried. Some advice tho 'man to man' if you think you're staying just because of Emma? Don't bother. She swore off romance years ago." Enoch says while glaring at Jake. Jakes eyes go wide and he starts stuttering. I start to drown out their conversation while looking around the room but not moving from where I'm standing.

I hear a cough from behind me, I quickly turn to see Enoch looking at me "and who might you be?" He asks me tilting his head a bit "this is Atticus, he's my brother" jake explains and I nod along "brother? Abe never talked about you." Enoch states, I just nod. He looks at me with narrowed eyes but goes back to his work.

"I wonder why Abe never talked about you Atticus" Enoch states, I just frown sadly "did he ever tell you about us?" I shake my head  "so you don't know what being peculiar means?" He asks and I shake my head "well this is what makes me peculiar" he say's and puts a heart in a skeleton.

I stare intrigued, He puts a brain in the other skeleton and whispers to one with the heart and they start fighting, 'he can bring the dead to life?' I stare amazed. Once the one with the brain wins Enoch smirks "awesome" I whisper amazed and what I just saw.

I turn to see Jake looking sick "I-I'm gonna..." jake says and runs out of the room. I turn to look around the room and see olive left 'she must've left when jake did' i shrug and look at the jars around his room. "Does us freak you out? What I can do?" He asks, I shake my head I hear him hum and walk over to me, leaning down to my ear "good. You intrigue me Atticus" he say's, I let out a shaky breath.

"Enoch! Atticus! Dinner!"

We hear and Enoch sighs "come on Atticus, wouldn't want to keep them waiting" he say's holding out his hand, I take his hand and let him lead the way.
