A/N: guys another chapter already?! I'm surprised by myself :)

In this story Abe didn't tell the peculiar's about Atticus, and Atticus didn't know about them :)

Atticus POV:

I shake of the feeling of being watched and approach the front door. Emma knocks and the door opens almost immediately "right on time. You must be Jake and... who might you be?" The headmistress asks me 'did grandpa never tell them about me?" I give a sad smile "I'm Atticus Portman. Jakes younger brother" I say and she nods "oh yes, it's nice to meet you Atticus" she says than turns to Emma "I do hope I'm not going to have the pub landlord knocking on my door with the police again? I've had to kill them twice this month. it's been terribly inconvenient" Emma avoids eye contact and sighs "we may have... broken some things... and olive may have started a.... Tiny fire" she say's and gives miss peregrine a smile.

Miss peregrine just sighs and changed the subject "Come on in, I'd love to get to know you both and show you around" she says smiling and letting us in.

We walk into the house and oh it is so beautiful "would you both like some tea?" Miss peregrine asks "yes please" Jake says and I nod along.

We walk into the kitchen to see olive with her hands on the kettle? 'I have no idea what's happening'. "That's enough olive, no one enjoys over boiled tea" miss peregrine says and olive smiles. I start to feel like I'm being watched again and shrink into my chair a little.

"Oh Enoch, let me help you with those!" Olive says to someone behind me "don't bother, wouldn't want to interrupt your tea party" I turn around to see the guy I saw before? But he's now looking straight at me with an emotionless face. I give a small smile and he just looks away and walks upstairs.

'Did I do something wrong?' I shake my head of the thought and listen to the conversation at hand. "Shall we take our tea outside? I'll show you both around" miss peregrine asks and we both nod and start fo stand up.

We enter the garden/back yard and it is so beautiful! "He said, before he died to come and find you. That there was something he wanted me to know? He said you'd explain everything to me?" Jake says all at once "That's absolutely true although there are few things I can't explain, we are in common parlance as peculiar" she say's and turns to a running girl with her pocket watch "51 seconds late Fiona" the girl sighs "sorry miss peregrine, how many carrots for dinner?" "One should be fine, thank you Fiona" miss peregrine reply's and smiles.

After all the introductions

We meet up with Emma after all the introductions "hello Jake, Atticus!" She smiles and I smile and wave before sitting down at the tree. I see Emma start the float 'what is everyone's peculiarities?'  I wonder but start to get the same feeling again 'who keeps watching me? Is it Enoch?' I look and see a shadow in a window.

I see Emma is back on the floor "excuse me Emma? If I may ask who lives in that room, the one with the shadow in the window?" I ask "oh' that's Enoch's room" She say's and grabs the rope from Jake and starts to walk towards the house. I look back at the window to the shadow I now know as Enoch and wave. But the shadow quickly disappears.

'That's strange'
