As Adrian left, a sinister fog enveloped Lucas, casting an eerie stillness over the night. From the mist emerged a dark figure - Victor Sable. In a swift and brutal move, Victor seized Lucas by his hair, pressing a handkerchief against his face until consciousness faded.

When Lucas awoke, he found himself in an unfamiliar place, bound and at the mercy of the menacing Victor.

Victor sneered, "Where is Nightshade hiding, hero?"

Lucas, with resilience in his eyes, retorted, "I don't know."

Victor, sensing defiance, resorted to intimidation. "You can't protect him forever. Tell me where he is!"

Lucas, with a steely gaze, remained steadfast, "I won't betray him. You can do whatever you want to me, but I won't give up Nightshade."

Victor, a cruel grin etching his face, circled Lucas. "You're quite the loyal pet, aren't you? But even the strongest heroes have their breaking point."

Lucas, gritting his teeth, shot back, "I'd rather face your torment than betray someone who fights for this town."

Victor, with a sadistic chuckle, leaned in, "We'll see about that. The night is long, hero."

In the shadows, unbeknownst to Lucas, Adrian discovered that his companion had been kidnapped. A storm of concern and determination ignited in his eyes as he, too, embarked on a relentless search, hoping to reunite with Lucas. The town, now enveloped in shadows and uncertainty, awaited the resolution of this intricate dance between heroism and mystery. Meanwhile, Lucas, bound and marked by the tight restraints, bore the physical reminders of his unwavering commitment.
