Me and neteyam have been training for quite a while now, and I have to say I think I'm improving, but one things happened recently that brought pain into neteyam, His Ikran is I guess a female and during Mating season his female was attacked violently by males, the ikran sadly did not survive. "Neteyam.." I whispered as he held 'sezei's snout close to him "..." silence was the only thing heard, that and the sobs from him as he cried for his sister, the right thing to do now is to comfort him, I walked up to him and kneeled, I placed my arm around his shoulders and held him a little more close to me, he wrapped his arms around my neck and began to cry, I rubbed his back as he cried, I felt a mixture of sadness and straight bliss, but soon the blissful warmth didn't stay for long, he swiftly turned back around and hugged his ikran, he muttered some words in Navi as he placed flowers on her, along the saplings of the Spirit tree or Eywa. For and hour or so he laid with his Ikran and I stayed too, I didn't want to leave him in his time mourning, "it is okay, you can go" neteyam said looking at Sezei's snout as he held it "I'll stay" I said calmly, nothing more was said until the next 10 minutes he finally arose "you okay?" I asked standing "I'll be fine" he said, the cracking in his voice visible, I held out my arms for a hug and he quickly fell into my arms, continuing crying "I know" I said laying my head on his shoulders as he did mine.
We walked and climbed up the mountains and we finally reached the camp, he told his mother of the sad thing he had to witness "my son.. I'm sorry" she said hugging him and gently kissing his temple to comfort him. His family began to hug him and tell him soft calming words to calm him down, his father promising he will be able to tame an ikran first with all the other boys including tsireya, rotxo, and I.
