mi'le patted his Ikran, he watched the men, Lo'ak stood in fear, Mi'le loved people who feared, but there's one thing he wanted most, neteyam.
"Go home" neteyam repeated, but this time, softer than before "what happened to us? Yawntu" he said ( Navi- Yanwtu- lover, loved one, beloved) ao'nung ears flattened at the word "yawntu.." neteyam repeated, "don't call him that" Lo'ak said, his tail began to sway, Lo'ak was very protective of Neteyam, even if he was younger. "You can't tell me what to do" Mi'le said, being stubborn as always, Lo'ak began to defend, they both went back in fourth, arguing, they stopped, lo'ak ears flattened when he lost to him in the argument. "Now, You" he said pointing at Ao'nung "stay away from him, i won't share what is mine." mi'le said glaring at Ao'nung. He got up and mounted his Ikran, the men began to fly off "Stay away, or it's gonna get bloody" he said pointing his knife at Ao'nung from his Ikran, His Ikran hissed and screeched as it flew off.
Neteyam s pov
Ao'nung got up, he looked at me and then at Lo'ak and Tsireya, he walked off, shoving te brush in front "aonung" I said chasing for him, I caught up and began to slow down and walk "why didn't you tell me you guys were mated" he said, his head low, "we're not" I said disgusted by his remark "why would you mess with my feelings like that, I trusted you" he said, softly sniffing "what.." I said stopping "you know I like you.. but you don't wanna tell me that you already have someone?" He said turning around, slightly raising his voice "we are not mated, ao'nung" I said trying to defend myself "he called you Yawntu.." he said turning his head away from me "that doesn't mean I like him, I never did" I said putting my hand up in defense "then why would he call you that? What happened between you both" he said raising his voice louder, "ao'nung.." I said softly "it shouldn't matter.." I said once more "so my feelings don't matter.." he said glaring at me "we kissed.. once, I didn't mean for it to escalate into something I would never do" I said hanging my head "...." He was silent "I don't love him, he told me he liked me, I told him I would never be with him, I said I have high expectations, but for you Ao'nung, I'm willing to break.." I said not daring to look him in the eye, he was silent. So was I.. I poured half of my heart out to him, just for him to stand in silence..
