"In here is everything you two will need in order to get to Tokyo. You will find a new passport, ten thousand yen, the full portfolio for Adam Lancaster and an address code for you to contact him." U passed us both a brown envelope each. "You two will not be going on the same plane as Ava and Alistair and you shall be arriving first in Tokyo. It is imperative that you use the code you will find in the envelope to find your taxi man as soon as you land. You will be driven to the hotel where you will stay and we have made reservations for you two under the names on your new passports."
"We have separate rooms, right?" Dan asked informally which took me by surprise allowing myself to forget the rude in what he had just said. I glanced a side glare at him in wonder if he was serious. Like I would want to share a room with him anyway.
"Well of course, unless you want a room to share?" He asked.
"No." I exclaimed unnecessarily matching the immature tone as the man beside me. Daniel held an unreadable face.
"Good. Let's go to the toy room shall we?" U said standing as we copied and followed him out the door to the underground 'toy room'.
Toy room: a test room and manufacture for all gadgets and weapons
I held my excitement within my polite smile.
The toy room was always a place I was drawn to, watching everything being put together by some of the smartest people in the world without a doubt. In addition it was also a place where I could practice my shooting. Always a plus for me.
"When you get in, just state your needs. You both have done this before I presume so it shouldn't be a problem. If there is then there should be advisors to help you." He nodded at us before walking back to his office. Before I could step near the door, Dan had already pushed it open but only to let himself in, leaving me to catch the door before it slammed in my face.
As soon I stepped inside my sense perked up at the smell of smelted metal. I could see many workers around dressed in comfortable home clothes with long white lab coats draped over them. Some were holding guns and various gizmos, some were inspecting and jotting down on clipboards, others where plain playing around with them.
I could see revolvers and pistols to my right. Grappling hooks and lock pickers far ahead but Daniel surrounded by female workers towards my right. Not what you are supposed to be doing.
"Scarlet!" A familiar voice called and I looked towards the voice.
"Allison!" I exclaimed back with a contempt smile.
"I didn't believe that it would be long before you would be back here." She beamed at me.
"Didn't think so either. How have you been?" I asked following her to wherever our destination was.
"Well." Was all she said before stopping by the wall covered cupboard filled with guns.
"Don't worry. I'm stocked up. Anything new for me?" I asked wandering my eyes around the area with my attention being averted every now and again by the laugh of Daniel still encircled by women.
"Oh, you're working with Mr Howell." Said Allison as I grabbed an AP4 carbine rifle off of the wall.
"You know him?" I asked aiming at the dummy in the box. Target: Heart
"You don't?"
BANG. The bullet flew and punctured a hole just below the shoulder. Dammit
I huffed before lifting up the weapon again in aim hoping to reach my target.
