Planning Against Ruin

I powered back on, staring at nothing. Something was bugging me--but I was unsure what it was.

"Are you okay?" Solar Flare asked, standing next to me.

"Hm?" I hummed, snapping out of my own thoughts.

"I said, are you okay?" Solar Flare repeated. I shrugged.

"I'm fine. Something's bugging me though," I replied. Solar Flare cocked his head to the side.

"What is it?" He wondered. I continued staring...into simply nothing. I shake my head.

"It's probably nothing. But something is itching me in the back of the head...I'm unsure what it is, though. But I can tell that something is not right. Maybe a bit of the star power is still inside of me?"

"Maybe. Or something bad is happening to one of the celestial animatronics?" Solar Flare mentioned.

"Something bad," I echoed. "Something...bad..."

Solar Flare looked at me, waiting for me to connect the dots slowly.

"Shit, the Ruin animatronic thing, what is he planning??"

"You finally connected the dots? There's another villain that Sun and Moon are dealing with. If you want to earn their trust, you should probably help them with that. They will be grateful if you saved them from that mangled monstrosity."

"Yeah!!" I agreed, feeling a sense of hope. I knew that feeling will disappear soon, but might as well bathe in this bliss while I'm at it. "Should I try to find where Ruin is, or do you have the general coordinates of where he could be?"

Solar Flare is silent, like he was calculating something.

"I do not know where he is," Solar Flare sighs. "There is nowhere he could be in this general proximity. I have scanned."

"Of course it's nowhere in this 'general proximity,' since we're up in my sun liar!!" I yelled.

"Calm down. That was the most I could do at the moment. I know you do not want to, but you should go down to the Superstar Daycare. Maybe they need your assistance with the Ruin thing."

"I don't know, I don't know..." I chanted. This was stressing me out. I know they hated me, yet if my whole goal was to earn their trust, I guess I have no choice.

"You should think about it," He tells me. "It might be worth it, but if it is worrying, it is not like I am forcing you to do anything."

"I guess I can do it," I reply. "It won't be the end of the world if they kick me out once again."

"That is the spirit," Solar Flare chuckles. "I wish you the best of luck, Eclipse."

"Thanks."

With that being said, I teleported to Earth's room, just for moral support before I head over to Sun and Moon.

"Hey, Earth," I greeted her. Earth's eyes were huge--either with fear or shock--as she ran over to me.

"Eclipse, Eclipse," She repeated in utmost urgency. "Sun and Moon need you. Now. I-I don't know how to help and I-- I tried but it's too much for me to--"

Her words were jumbled up while trying to explain the story, like she was panicking.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down," I reassure her. "Just take it one step at a time and try to process your words before speaking."

Earth nods wordlessly, taking a few deep breaths and calming down to the best of her ability at the moment.

"O-Okay...so...I was going to go to Sun and Moon, just to help them out around the Daycare. When I entered their room, they were not there. I was searching everywhere around for them, and I couldn't find them. I asked their AI's if they knew where Sun and Moon were. They were being sassy--per usual--but I continued persisting! They eventually scanned for them, and they were...not in the Pizzaplex. I asked the AI's where outside of the Pizzaplex they were. It seemed to be some sort of forest area, I don't know. One of the AI's said that the Ruin thing that's been at Sun and Moon's throats for a while and I'm worried that they're not okay...could you please check the nearest forest and see if they're there? Please??"

Earth sounded desperate, and I felt bad for her worries. I nodded.

"Of course I can," I reassured her. Earth smiled worriedly and hugged me.

"Ohh thank you, thank you!!" Earth squealed. "Here's my phone number. Call me once their safe, or if you...can't find them...okay?"

"Okay, I promise I'll help the best I can."

I installed Earth's number into my database. I'll definitely use this for later.

"I wish you the best of luck, Eclipse!" Earth tells me.

"I'll try to not let you down," I tell her. I wave goodbye as I leave her room. Soon I left the Pizzaplex, ready to search for Sun and Moon.
