There was awkward silence between the two of us. I glanced at the ground, my thoughts were starting to spiral out of control, which isn't like me at all.
"You better know what you're doin'. If I catch you screwin' around, or figure out the fact that you've lied to me," Monty stepped closer to me. "I will learn to never forgive you."
I stared at him with a blank expression, unsure how to take his threats. But I eventually nodded.
"Fair. You can stay in your little liar if you want. Just so you know I'm not messing with your tech."
"Good. I planned on stayin'. I still don't trust you fully, you know? The only reason I am trustin' you right now is to make sure you don't mess with anythin' you're not supposed to be messin' with. Got that?"
"Yeah. I 'got that' a while ago. You wouldn't normally have trusted me in the first place. I'm not dumb, Gator."
Monty huffed and crossed his arms. "Well then? Start helpin'. No more stallin' with all the chitter chatter and explainin'. Go on. Make the fixing Lunar process faster. I haven't figured out how to do that since you originally blocked me from my own space liar."
I wordlessly turned around to the keyboard, and I clicked a few buttons, hoping that some form of combination will make the process quicken.
"Making the process faster," The computer spoke in an annoying robotic tone. I heard the whirring of the circuitry as the capsule that's plugged into the computer started glowing a bright and vibrant blue. Lunar's blue.
If I was honest, I was worried. For the first time I felt legit fear. I knew Lunar was going to freak out, and not trust me at first. I've given him too much trauma for him to simply exist again pain free.
"Wow. It's goin' a lot faster now," Monty noted. He sounded surprised that I could make the process quicken with ease, but I guess I am kinda smarter than this Gator, so I shouldn't be surprised.
"Process complete," The computer explained. The capsule stopped glowing. There he was. Lunar's body was shut off, but I could tell that once we powered him on, he'll go online with ease. I looked at Monty.
"Are you going to do it? I don't think seeing me right away will be good."
Monty glared at me, "fine. But if you decide to blow him up again and you've tricked me, so help me--"
"I didn't. Trust me."
"Fine," Monty grumbled as he opened up the capsule and walked over to Lunar's powered off body. I backed up, trying to not seem alarming. Though, I probably failed at that task since the first thing Lunar did when he powered on was scream.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He yelled out when his eyes landed on me. I guess I was scary when I was standing in the damn corner. I cleared my throat, getting ready to explain myself, but then Monty held up a finger, telling me to be quiet.
"Don't worry, Lunar. According to Eclipse, he's...changed? I guess. But if he tries anything, I'll kill him or somethin', okay?"
Lunar was silent, and then glared at Monty. "You trusted him that easily?!"
"Oh hell no," Monty chuckled. "I'm still skeptical. But don't worry, I'm here to keep you safe. I promise I won't let you blow up again. Not on my watch."
I lifted my hands up, showing surrender. "I'm not going to do anything."
Lunar looked at me like I've gone crazy. "How should we believe you??"
"You don't. Just trust your instincts, kid."
"Don't call me a kid! I'm not an idiot!!" Lunar hissed as he hid behind Monty. Monty placed a reassuring hand on Lunar's head.
"Eclipse, let me take care of Lunar. You can leave for now or do...whatever you were plannin' on doin'."
I nodded wordlessly as I teleported back to my sun liar. Solar Flare stared at me.
"Well?" He said. "How did it go?"
"Lunar doesn't trust me at all, and Monty is skeptical."
"You fixed Lunar that easily?"
"Well...I sped up the process. So yeah."
Solar Flare chuckled as he crossed his arms. "That is good. Rest up, Eclipse. You need to think about your next plan of action."
"Yeah, I guess I do."
I walked over to my charging station, knowing that I had to tell Sun and Moon about Lunar's new body and the fact that I helped fix him. Though, that might sound egotistical if I phrase it like that.
I'll think about it while I'm charging, waiting for my next plan of action.
I stood on the charging station as I hooked myself up. My vision slowly faded to black...

Sorry for not updating this in a while! Writers block sucks. But I really like how this chapter turned out! Let's hope that--eventually--Sun and Moon will trust him, though that is kinda unlikely unless Eclipse proves himself. Only one way to find out!! Stay tuned for the next chapter, and I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day <3
