JUNO SHIMMERED AND DISSAPEARED . Percy looked at Hazel and Frank for some kind of explanation, but they seemed just as confused as he was. Frank was holding something Percy hadn't noticed before-two small clay flasks with cork stoppers, like potions, one in each hand. Percy had no idea where they'd come from, but he saw Frank slip them into his pockets. Frank gave him a look like: We'll talk about it later.

Jason looked at him , which felt like he was peeping into his soul and then he regarded him with cold eyes , " So a son of Neptune " he said , " who comes with the blessing of Juno eh "

" Look uhm Jason- can I call you that ? " Jason nodded , " My memory is kinda messed up and trust the only thing I remember is my name and that's it "

Jason did the whole stare-into-his-soul thing and then nodded , " Frank bring him to the principia . I need to ask some questions "

Frank left Percy at the principia

"Now, Percy Jackson, let's see if we can improve your memory." he said

The two dogs growled behind him and he rolled his eyes , " No need to fear O' great carrier of Juno "he mocked and Percy gave him a light smile , " Thank you O' great leader of Rome " he said with a dazzling smile.

Something about this Percy Jackson made Jason feel like he found someone he could trust , which wasn't often .

" Er are these dogs rabid or something ?" he asked , feeling at ease and Jason pushed down a smile , " No but they act like lie detectors Jackson "

" Sooo wait really ! Ehh " he said , his sea green eyes glistening , " I love blue food " he said and both Argentum and Aurum didn't growl

Jason raised a brow , " Seriously Neptune spawn , what is wrong with you "

Percy pouted and then stuck his tongue out . He's adorable , thought Jason and then shook his head . " You hurt me ... Wait , who on earth is your godly Parent " he said with a realisation .

" Jupiter " he answered

" So you're a Zeu- Jupiter spawn "

" I dare you to call me Jupiter Spawn " Jason warned with his Wolf-glare

The son of Neptune in front of him returned it with a smug smirk and then grinned , " Alas , I never back down from a dare " he said , " Jupiter Spawn " he added

Jason rolled his eyes , idiot , he mumbled . " Why do you exist again ?" he asked rhetorically.

" To annoy you Sparky "

" You do not call me Sparky ! " He yelled

" Woah woah , chill Jacy "

" That's worse "

" Can we be Sirius " said Percy

" Good that you realised Bayweed "

"First things first," Jason said. "I want to hear your story. What do you remember? How did you get here? And don't lie. My dogs don't like liars."

Argentum and Aurum snarled to emphasize the point.

Percy told his story-how he'd woken up at the ruined mansion in the woods of Sonoma. He described his time with Lupa and her pack, learning their language of gestures and expressions, learning to survive and fight.

Lupa had taught him about demigods, monsters, and gods. She'd explained that she was one of the guardian spirits of Ancient Rome. Demigods like Percy were still responsible for carrying on Roman traditions in modern times-fighting monsters, serving the gods, protecting mortals, and upholding the memory of the empire. She'd spent weeks training him, until he was as strong and tough and vicious as a wolf. When she was satisfied with his skills, she'd sent him south, telling him that if he survived the journey, he might find a new home and regain his memory.

None of it seemed to surprise Jason. In fact, she seemed to find it pretty ordinary-except for one thing.

" You don't remember anything ?" he asked concerned

" I don't " Percy replied sadly with a frown

Jason felt like wrapping the guy in a hug but tried to restrain himself. News flash ! He failed and within a millisecond , he was hugging the son of Neptune .
