"I'm just saying that-" "YOU ASSHOLE! I'M LEAVING!" The ginger-haired girl cut Katsuki off before slamming her hands onto the table, pushing her chair back and storming out of the restaurant.

A few people looked their way, but soon went back to minding their own business and eating at their own respective tables nonchalantly.

Katsuki sighed. Yet another failed date and another angry girl walking out on him. It was the 17th time that month it happened.

He slumped back into his chair, closing his eyes in exasperation. All he wanted was a partner, but apparently, it was way harder than he thought it would be. At that point, he was questioning if he even liked women in the first place!

"Goddamnit.." Katsuki muttered under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.

He didn't even know why she just exploded like that, all he told her was that she had an ugly laugh and probably had an ugly personality too!

People these days, am I right?

For a few moments, he just sat there, listening to the light chatter inside the restaurant, aswell as the gentle clinking of utensils and glasses. Classical music filled the air, really helping the atmosphere of the room.

"You again?" A tired voice spoke, making Katsuki look up, his frown immediately disappearing and turning into a small smile.

If there was one good thing about his repetitive failure of dates, it was talking to the waiter. Every time he has gone to this specific restaurant for his date attempts, it was always the same guy who served him.

Messy black hair, with hints of purple visible in the light. Usually an exhausted and/or pissed expression on his face no matter who he's serving. Freckles scattered on his pale face, and dark bags underneath his eyes.

A black apron wrapped around his waist, and underneath some black trousers too. A white nametag pinned onto his white blouse, reading 'MIKUMO AKATANI' in fancy lettering.

"What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic." Katsuki shrugged off, sitting back up and holding his face in his palm.

"I thought it would maybe work out this time.." He sighed playfully.

Akatani snickered lightly at the comment.

"No need to be so pessimistic, loverboy. That's my job." Akatani put his hand on Katsuki's shoulder.

"And don't worry about it too much. As long as you don't look like me, you'll be fine in the romance department. Trust me, you'll find someone right for you."

Katsuki smiled softly at him. Every time he would finish up another one of his trainwreck outings, it was always Akatani who comforted him at the end of it.

"Thanks. You're probably the only reason I keep doing these stupid dates." Katsuki admitted.

"Ah, don't say that. I'm just your humble, sleep deprived waiter who doesn't get paid nearly enough to deal with your shit." Akatani joked, clearing up the food the women left untouched.

"Are you taking yours to go?" He asked.

"Nah, I'll stick around if it means I get to see you more!" Katsuki told him sincerely.

A light blush crept onto Akatani's face.

'Cute,' Katsuki thought to himself.

"A-Alright, I'll see you later." Akatani finished, taking the plates and walking off into kitchen.

Katsuki subtly checked Akatani out as he walked away. He then continued to eat his food in peace, his mood improved now that he had spoken to his favourite, cute waiter.

'I wonder if he's single...'
