s o n g s : where'd all the time go?, super rich kids, unforgettable

"It's like the more I watch, the more I fall," Sienna commented as she stared at the screen, showcasing Micah on his way to grab his award, two years ago. All before the scandals started to get in his way.

"He's an asshole, a cheater, and uses small businesses for money," I explained to her, and she just chuckled, her gaze not leaving the screen while Jay held her close to remind her that he was indeed still here.

"What are y'all watching?" asked Kyle as he walked towards us with beer cans in his hands and obviously a smoke in hand. "Just Kova's dance partner," Sienna replied, to which I scoffed. "Because they insisted," I corrected, and Kyle chuckled before plonking down next to me and opening his beer can, then opening mine and handing it to me.

He leaned his head on my shoulder while placing his legs on the coffee table stranding in the middle of Jay's humble beach house.

"As a guy, I must say that this man right here is hot as hell," Jay commented and grinned widely while Kyle just scoffed, shook his head, and smacked his lips. "He's a cheater, manipulative, and so not morally right," he spoke in a mocking tone, imitating me, which earned him a playful slap on his shoulder.

"Shut up," I told him, and he just chuckled, grabbing the TV remote and turning it off right before Micah's performance would play out.

"Love how easily mad you're getting," he pointed out, stood up, and took a huge hit from his smoke before waddling towards the porch.

He rested both of his hands on his hips and sighed, "What do y'all think? Surfing?" he asked with a wide grin in which Jay just sighed. "Again?" he asked, and Kyle nodded, motioning for us to join him. "Hell yeah?" he exclaimed, as if it wasn't even a question anymore.

Jay stood up, pecked Sienna's forehead before walking towards Kyle where he prepared our surfboards. I walked to Sienna, who asked for a sip of my beer, which I offered her more than gladly.

"God, those are a different breed," she giggled while looking over the boys who were arguing like the good old days.

I shrugged, "I think they're just stuck in time," I replied, and Sienna stubbed my arm playfully before letting out a loud exhale of relief. "God, where'd all the time go?" she asked with a sad smile, and I laughed a little before making my way to the kitchen counters and prepping food.

"For real, we're bloody adults.." I whispered under my breath, and Sienna joined me with

"Indeed," I agreed softly.

I leaned back on the little sunbath blanket I brought with me, letting the sun dry off my wet skin while I watched Kyle surf those huge waves, genuinely confused about how smoothly he managed it.
