"You know, beach girl, when I first saw you, I thought you were the complete opposite." Micah started as we walked out of the woods, landing in an empty street.

It was already dark outside, no stars and it was all covered by huge clouds which we both faced ignorantly. It was fucking cold too.

If we were lucky we'd make it in time before it would start to pour.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I faced him and he shrugged, "Well, I saw you dancing in that video, I think to Captain Hook from Megan or something, and I never would have thought you were-" holding in he thought about his words, "Well, that you were Beach Girl." he finished.

"Wow, a girl can do both, would you look at that?" I spoke sarcastically and I could hear him exhale, "No, I didn't mean it like that. I am well aware a girl can do many things and can be many things," he tried talking his way out but I stopped him, "Okay, I get it, I get it." I let out a faint chuckle.

He was trying so hard to not say anything problematic, as if I'd leak everything to the internet.

Micah sighed in relief, "I just thought you were the life of the party, you know. having fun, no rules-" "And I don't have fun?" I asked him and his eyes widened.

"That's not how I meant it, stop trying to make me dislike you." he argued, "I'm not trying to make you dislike me, that would be dumb, no?" He shook his head, "Oh, let me word it differently then. Stop trying to dislike me."

"Huh?"

He scoffed, looked down at me and smirked, "You like me, face it or not."

His audacity! "I do not like cheaters and assholes." I argued and looked away, straight towards the many stores that started to line up. Some closed, some cheap cafes and restaurants still open.

"Oh, come on, you really believe everything the Internet says?" he seemed rather annoyed, "Well, it's true though, isn't it?" "True or not, you can't judge a book by its cover or a person by their internet rumors." he interfered and I had to hold in my laughter.

"Puh, seems like I better watch out, the wise man returned." "Oh my god." he exclaimed frustrated.

There was comfortable silence as we strolled through the little streets. Something about the peace right now was calm but as soon as I noticed how quiet it was, I just had to speak up before it would get awkward.

"Well, you know. You are the exact same as I imagined you to be." I explained to him and he raised his brows, letting out a faint chuckle. " Is that good or bad?" he asked me, more intrigued than he should be.

"Good, I guess. I thought you'd be insufferable, but you're just mildly annoying." that was actually true. He sure was annoying, but I've seen worse and I've expected worse, especially after our first encounter.
