"Wake up Sunshine!" someone shouted in Adrianna's ear.

Adrianna tossed over and groaned, "Go away." She felt her blanket being yanked away, forcing her to curl up feeling cold wind all over her body. She shut her eyes tight, she was almost falling back asleep when her pillow was stolen.

Her head banged against the mattress making her eyes widen, she quickly turned around and glared at the culprit. "What do you want?" She hissed.

"To spend some time with my roommate." Maria replied smiling, satisfied. Adrianna groaned turning back around shutting her eyes again. Maria rolled her eyes, and pushed her off the bed then started attacking her with her pillow.

Adrianna stood up grabbing the pillow, throwing it aside and glared at her annoying brunette headed roomate. "I'm up!"

Maria rolled her eyes and stood up crossing her arms, "Good, now go get dressed. I want coffee before class starts." She said strolling away.

Adrianna groaned heading to the bathroom, she splashed her face with cold water blinking repeatedly. She looked out the window noticing the sky is very light blue, barely any sun to be found. "Maria! What time is it?!"

"7:30!" Adrianna groaned, "What the hell! Classes doesn't start until 9:00!"

Maria walked into the bathroom, "Yeah and you take like an hour to get ready." Adrianna glared at her roomate, "I do not. You're just perfect you and don't have to work hard to look good." Maria whispered silently to herself.

Maria didn't hear her. "Hurry up. I'll pay for coffee today." Adrianna rolled her eyes and began to brush her teeth, Maria began to walk away but quickly hit Adrianna on the butt then ran away. Adrianna shook her head and walked to the closet. She pulled out dark skinny jeans, a muscle tank with a skull on it, a black leather jacket and white combat boots. She layed the clothes out on her bed, and finished brushing her teeth.

She walked to the full body mirror, she stared at her reflection. Adrianna's skin was not too pale but not very tan, she has long black hair naturally wavy that reaches to the bottom of her ribs, blue eyes that sometimes change to hazel, she is roughly 5'4", and skinny with muscle on her. "Why am I so ugly?" She whispered to herself.

"Adrianna! Are you ready? It's 7:45! At this rate we'll never get coffee! And you know what happens when I get no coffee!" Maria whined.

"I'm coming! Don't get your underwear in a twist!" Adrianna rolled her eyes, of course she knows what happens. I mean afterall, that is how they met.

*FlashBack*

"Ugh! What does a girl have to do to get some coffee?!" A voice whined.

Adrianna slowly walked into the coffee shop, she walked up to the cashier ordering her coffee. When she began to walk to her table she bumped into someone, having coffee spill all over her.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Someone shouted. Adrianna got up trying to wipe off the coffee, "Sorry." She mumbled. The person sighed and went to get napkins and began helping her clean up.

"It's alright, I just get really cranky when I don't get coffee." The person said, Adrianna looked up to see a brunette with brown eyes, she had long loose curly hair that end just a couple inches under her huge breasts, she had rosy pink lips, a nose ring and she's only an inch taller than Adrianna.

"I can tell." The girl laughed. "I'm Maria, and you are?"

"Adrianna, I'm new here." Adrianna replied sheepishly.

"I noticed, well Adrianna how about you buy me a new coffee and we can talk more then." Maria smiled and looped her arm with Adrianna and began to walk to the cashier."

*FlashBack End*

She laughed silenty and shook her head at the memory. She quickly put mascara, added lip balm on, changed into her clothes and added her special bracelet that her mother gave her.

"Finally. I swear I heard dinosaurs roaring outside." Maria said, passing Adrianna her bag. Opening the door out of their dorm.

"Oh haha. Let's go." Adrianna walked out their dorm, hooking her arm with Maria.

"So apparently, word is out we have a new kid. A guy too!"

"Really?... And you heard this from who?" Adrianna said nonchalantly, sipping from her coffee.

"Anthony, who heard it from Katie, who heard from Ashley." Adrianna rolled her eyes obviously not interested.

"Come on Adri! I heard he's cute! And-"

"He's probably a player, or douchebag, or asshole, or all of them. Which I wouldn't be surprised if he was."

"Come on, not every guy is like that. You haven't even met him yet! I bet you he's a sweet guy who's shy and loves to shop with his girlfriend or loves to cook with his girlfriends mom... Maybe he makes really good dinner, like pasta and shrimp. Ooh shrimp, yum shrimp is so good. Did you know?..." Adrianna looked away not wanting to listen to her ramble.

Adrianna stopped being interested in "love" when HE was still around. She shivered at the thought of him.

She looked to see an unfamiliar face enter the coffee shop, a boy 6'0" tall, brown short hair formed into a small quiff, blazing seagreen eyes, wearing a navy blue shirt with a white undershirt, dark washed jeans, and white supras. He looked around with hands stuffed into his pockets.

"Adri! Are you even listening to me?" Maria asked noticing Adrianna paying no attention at all.

"Yeah.. Yeah.. What did you say his name was again?" Adrianna asked making eye contact with the mysterious boy.

"Oh! Ethan. Why?"

Sneak Peek of Chapter 2:

"Look, I'm not interested okay? Go pound on something else that has a heart beat. I mean, that's all you guys do, right?" Adrianna snapped, something about this guy just pisses her off.

"Ouch." Ethan pretended to grab his heart in pain, "I like you, you're fiesty." Ethan said, tapping Adrianna's nose which made her even more pissed.

"It's really cute when you're angry."

"Oh trust me, I'm about to get real freaking adorable." Adrianna said clenching her fists.
