An Unexpected Girl

Chapter 2: The Introduction

She looked to see an unfamiliar face enter the coffee shop, a boy 6'0" tall, brown short hair formed into a small quiff, blazing seagreen eyes, wearing a navy blue shirt with a white undershirt, dark washed jeans, and white supras. He looked around with hands stuffed into his pockets.

"Adri! Are you even listening to me?" Maria asked noticing Adrianna paying no attention at all.

"Yeah.. Yeah.. What did you say his name was again?" Adrianna asked making eye contact with the mysterious boy.

"Oh! Ethan. Why?"

 "Oh my gosh! Adrianna! That's him! That's the new guy!" Maria said excitedly, trying to stay still in her seat.

"I see him." Adrianna watched Ethan walk to the register and begin flirting with the cashier.

"Typical men, I swear all they do is pick a girl, play them and then break them." Adrianna rolled her eyes. She felt disgusted watching the cashier bend over and "accidently" show him her boobs, does anyone have any self respect anymore? She couldn't watch anymore as the cashier pulled out a piece of paper and wrote on it giving it to him. She turned around facing her stunned roomate.

"He's just another play- What's gotten into you?" She asked curiously. Maria just continued to look behind Adrianna, eyes getting wider and wider looking like they'll fall out.

"Mind if I sit here?" A deep, slow voice spoke that sent chills down Adrianna's spine. She turned her head to see Ethan standing behind her, smirking.

"Why yes, I do." She smirked, and kicked the near by chair across the room.

Maria gasped at her friends action and stood up, "Here you can take my seat, I'll get another chair." She began to walk away.

Ethan sat down, "So, where have you been all my life?" Adrianna rolled her eyes, how pathetic, a pickup line? How dumb does this guy think she is? She replied, "Hiding from the likes of you."

"Look, what do you want?" She sighed getting agitated.

"Nothing, can't a new guy sit with a pretty girl?" Ethan said innocently.

"You don't even know me."

"True, so what's your name? Mines Miller, Ethan Miller."

Who does he think he is? James Bond? Adrianna scoffed, "Lost, Get Lost."

Ethan laughed, "Well Ms. Lost tell me about yourself."

"How about, no." She said leaning back in her chair, crossing her arms.

"Fine, then I'll tell you about me."

"Oh excuse me while I go jump for joy."

"My name is Ethan, I just entered today because my mom got a job here, I have an older sister, well she's not too much older only 3 months, I'm 17, my birthday is on April 4th, I'm a junior and my favorite color is green." Ethan said smiling.

Adrianna just rolled her eyes, she seemed to be doing that a lot today. She noticed that Ethan was just staring at her with a big smile on his face, "What?" she spat.

"Your turn."

"My turn for what?"

"Tell me about you."

"Under what circumstance am I required to tell you, anything?"

"Please?"

Adrianna groaned and threw her hands in the air, "Fine, My name is Adrianna. My birthday is May 2nd, I'm 17, I'm a junior, and my favorite color is blue." She said with no emotion at all.
