You walk through the warm, grassy park hand in hand with your boyfriend Prodigy. You take a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air. He looks over and smiles at you, you smile back before lifting your head to let the sun warm your cheek. You let go of his hand and skip towards the Icee stand, he runs behind you and pays for both of you.
You begin to walk back into the grass, Prodigy slides his finger in between yours and leads you to a low, shady Weeping Willow. You lean against the thick trunk and stare into Prodigy's deep brown eyes. You leaned in and kissed him in the privacy of the long green leaves of the tree. You break apart and sit there looking at each other,
"Do you really have to leave," you ask.
"Yeah, for us," he replies with his head down.
" We don't need money," you tell him in an attempt to make him stay.
"But I want to buy you things, to show you how much I love you," he replies.
"I already know how much you love me," you tell him tears building in your eyes.
" Don't cry baby, it's only for a month," he tells you wiping away the tear that managed to seep out of your eye.
" I'm, I'm just gonna miss you," you tell him, starting to cry even harder.
" Well, you have something to remember me by, when I'm gone," he smiles, trying to lighten the mood, rubbing your basketball size stomach.
"I know, but he's not here yet, and I want you," you tell him, squeezing out a smile.
He's quite for a while,
"Y/n, I want us to be a family," he smiles, pointing to your stomach.
"We are a family," you say laying your head in his lap so that you can look into his eyes.
" You know,... officially,... I want to make this right," he smiles, playing with your hair.
"What do you mean," you ask confused.
"I want to marry you, Y/n," he tells you.
"We're not even legal yet," you say.
" We are in New Hampshire," he says seriously.
You laugh and he keeps a straight-face,
"Are you serious," you ask,
"Yeah, I'm serious," he tells you trying to get up.
You sit up and Prodigy gets on his knee, he pulls out a black box and opens it,
"Y/n, I love you, I want to be with you and my son forever, I want to grow old with you, I want you to be there when I come home, I want you to, when you can, come on tour with me, I want you to marry me,... Y/n will you take my hand in marriage," he asks.
By this time you had already began crying, happy that Prodigy wanted to marry you, and stunned by the beauty of your ring.
"Yes, Yes, YES," you screamed jumping up and down.
He slid the ring on your finger and gave you a long vehement kiss. After that, you and Prodigy spent the rest of the day as if you were newly weds, if you know what I mean. Although, it would a month until Prodigy got back from the tour, you were willing to wait, because, hopefully, you'd have forever together
