Flounder

Flounder is my friend and was dimples' best friend at the time.
She is a major book nerd and I will never not make fun of her for that.
I used to TA for flounder but that's another story
(Why is her nickname flounder?
Because her middle name is Ariel and it reminded me of the little mermaid)
Anyways I wasn't too close to her at the time but I also seen her around or hung out with her
Flounder is a nice person and she knows everyone .
One day in tutorial we were in ELA and she sat next to me. We weren't paying attention to anything the teacher was saying so we started talking about random stuff. There was a post it note on the table so I just drew on it and signed my name I handed it to her and she put it in her book. All of a sudden she asked me "is there anyone you like rn ?"
It threw me off a little bit bc it was unexpected but I answered "kinda I'm not sure"
And she was like "who is it do I know them ?"
And I said "yeah I think your close with her, her name is (dimples' real name)"
She was like "ohh she's my neighbor ".

Fast forward to the next day

It was the end of the school day when one of my friend were talking to me.
They said "I know someone who likes you"
I confused on who it could be so I said "who"
And they said "(flounders real name)"
First of all I was SHOCKED because I thought she was straight.
Second of all I felt bad bc I just told her I might like someone else her neighbor and best friend.
A month later
After I stopped liking dimples for a bit flounder and I dated but it didn't last too long we didn't end too badly but it was a bit awkward.

Our breakup didn't really effect flounder and my friendship but it really effected me and my best friend and flounder and dimples friendship. I told my best friend about how dimples said "did you know I liked you " and "your only with flounder because your desperate huh I know you like someone else too so if you weren't with her would you date them instead? "  I told my best friend not to confront her bc it was her birthday and she promised not to but then I found out she told her and she lied to me and I confronted her multiple times to ask if she told her and she lied to my face so we stopped talking for a while and I got so mad that we stopped being friends but she apologized the next minute. Dimples and flounder however didn't make it up and to this day they still aren't friend anymore.

I haven't updated this for a while and a lot of stuff happened so imma post the final part today.
