"Alright, now tell us ___ what is it you are so excited for?" Ignis asked curiously.

"I am going out for a walk in the city, I thought I would tell you."

The two went quiet for a moment. Ignis looked at Noctis. "That's alright, but are you sure you want to go alone?" Noctis asked.

"Well is it a problem if I do?"

Ignis adjusted his glasses. "No, not necessarily. I do believe saying before that the city may be mostly safe,e but there can still be thugs is all."

"Oh that, I remember but you two are also loaded with work. I can go alone, I don't want to be bothered. Soo I'll just go then." I walked towards the edge of the steps past Ignis.

"W-ell make sure you have your phone on you..! please!" Ignis called to me.

"Okay..! I do."

Ignis pinched his nose. "We...should think about that horse she requested."

"Y-yeah...but I also think a trip out to camp would be nice too."

"Hmm yes, just like old times."

"I'll do some more research on the horse."

"Very well, I will contact a few stable owners once you get that." Ignis walked out of the throne room and headed to what work he had left.

"One more thing Ignis."

"Yes, majesty?"

"About that ball, we should slowly prepare ourselves for that. I want it to be a peaceful place where even nonroyalty can enjoy themselves."

Ignis' eyes glittered. He liked planning events like this. He could put his little touch of fancy into it. Also, Noctis trusted him on who to invite.

Meanwhile

I was leaving the palace by myself. It was a mild warm day. the city wasn't as big as it used to be, some areas were still going through repairs after the many events this crown city faced. It was still beautiful though.

After walking down the new streets there was a cafe I saw from where I stood. It had an upper deck as well. "Ignis would like this."

'AAh why not, I could use a little tea and sweets.' Feeling light on my feet I walked inside.

I was greeted by the front counter waiter. "Oh hello there, from the palace are we?"

'Oh...my clothes...has the glaive's mark....woops.' So much for blending in.

I ignored his comment."Is the top deck open? I would like to sit there."

"Yes is it. If you go up those steps the waiter on that floor can take your order."

This was some fancy cafe, but I loved it. In my past life where I haven't even met Noctis and them, I didn't get to go to places like this. I made my way up the twisting staircase. There was a spot right at the window, I stayed away from the balcony area because I didn't want any bugs flying in my drink by accident.

I sat down in this peaceful area. There was only one couple here many tables away from me.

'This is perfect.' I picked up the menu and began to scan the sweets available.

While I read the menu, replays of me meeting Ignis for the first time played in my mind.
