CASSANDRA'S PERSPECTIVE
CURRENT: 1:11pm - May 30, 2017
CASSY'S MIND SET: February 12, 2015
11:11am is the last time that I saw Darren today. 2 hours without him is a mess. Earlier, as I stole a quick glance downstairs, it really made me crazy. Like ferociously crazy. I just found out that I'm living with three other girls. I found out that my family members are dead already. My mom, my dad, my twin.. they're all gone by the wind.
I glanced at my clock once again. 1:30pm. Wow. I was zoning out for that long already?
I was about to open the curtains to my window when I heard a soft knock on my door. "Cas, Cas, someone's looking for you," a girl spoke. I nod to myself and stood up. When I stood up, the mirror was facing me as I saw a Cassandra Legaspi reflecting from it. "You should smile, Cassy. It suits you," I almost jumped in my place when Darren appeared on my side. I remained my composure, faced and glared at him.
"Hey! How did you get in here?" I raised my eyebrows at him and put both of my hands on my waist. He chuckled lightly and grinned at me. "Irene went to knock the door but you didn't go out. So.. I went here inside myself. It's a bad thing that you weren't naked when I came in. Sayang!" he then, winked at me.
My cheeks instantly heat up with what he told me. I then, pinched him by his ears and dragged him out of my bedroom. "Arghh! You!" I angrily stomped my feet but, he's just laughing at me. "You look cute when you're angry," Darren said.
"Shut up," I muttered and looked down. "Hey! Look at that oh!" he beamed. Ako naman 'tong uto-uto, tumingin. I groaned. "Arghh. Wala naman eh!" I turned back to face him. Then, I almost jumped with joy when I saw Darren holding a bouquet of stargazers in his hands, covering his face.
Darren then, slowly removed the flowers in his face and slowly smiled at me. "Surprise," he grinned and handed me the bouquet. "Wow! Don't you know that these are my favorite flowers?" I smiled at him. He grinned widely and nodded.
"Of course, I know. If ever that I don't know what's your favorite flower, I would buy you roses. Blue roses," he told me. I laughed at him. "But - but blue roses," he just cut me off by looking deeply into my eyes. "Blue roses because, they're hard to find. Like you, you're very hard to find."
I covered my whole face because of embarrassment. My face might be color crimson right now. Oh my gosh Darren, just stop making me blush. Just estaph ettt!
"Yiie, you're smiling na! I feel so accomplished, Cassy," he hugged me. I hugged him back and smiled. Tigilan mo ako Darren, kinikilig ako.
We went out of the house side-by-side while smiling. I'm still absorbing what have happened earlier. It's been 30 minutes since the outside-the-bedroom scene and I haven't get over it yet. Oh gosh, what a day. "Where do you want to go?" he asked me. I thought for a second and removed my handphone from my pocket. I checked the contacts list.
"Hmm.." I clicked my tongue. Sassa, Jimin, Kai, Faye, JK.. JK! Shoot! "I want to go to JK's. Do you remember where he's living at?" I asked him as I began walking. I was puzzled when he turned silent for a moment and cleared his throat. "Uhm.. C-Cassy.. y-you can't," he stopped in his tracks and held me in my arm.
"Huh? Why not?" I also stopped in my tracks and faced him. He looked at me with a pleading face. "Basta. You can't," he said. I can feel my blood slightly boiling with anger and confusion. "Why?! Are you hiding something from me?" I asked him with a stern and angry voice.
