A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Deku: The War Ridden Hero! I am so happy that you all managed to get this story up to and over the 100 reads that this story has gotten. I was not expecting you all to really like this story at first, but with the 65 reads I got on the first chapter I made of this story just a few days ago I knew that you all would love to have more chapters of this story. So in order to see what you all really wanted from this story, I made the goal of the 100 reads to see if you wanted to have me make more chapters, and you all surprised me. Thank you all for the support!
Izuku was in the car behind Aizawa's seat as Present Mic drove the car over to where Aizawa had lived within Musutafu. The man was really quiet as he silently kept an eye on Izuku, the boy was a real enigma as he had known the Hero with just a mere glance as well as was extremely close to him. Aizawa couldn't understand what caused the boy to want to be in his home with him, he wasn't good with kids. Hell, the children he expelled always had turned out to become villains because of his actions, so he was really wondering why the boy was really wanting him to be nearby. But if anything, he should really keep an eye out on Bakugo since the young man had been extremely moody since Midoriya had appeared in the USJ.
Practically demanding to see the young man himself to make sure that the boy was really who he was informed to be. The class would just have to see on Monday since that was when they all would be returning to school. The car came to a stop at Aizawa's home as he and Midoriya got out of the car and moved over towards the door as Aizawa stopped at the door to grab his keys.
"Midoriya, I don't know why you trust me so much. But I will let you know now that my ability to teach children is not that good, so I don't know what you see in me. But be careful of my cats, they are really sensitive to those who had experienced loss, so they might envelope you with love." Aizawa said, as Izuku looked at the man with confusion.
Entering the home, it was nice and quiet, if a bit dark. Walking into the home, he announced his presence as a few cats came running towards them both meowing at them as if to demand attention. Izuku knelt on his knee as he looked at the closest one who was looking at him with its heterochromatic eyes of blue and gold. Holding out a hand to the small animal, he watched as the cat smelled his hand before seemingly nodding to itself and placing its head into his palm and purring. And the effect was immediate, Izuku felt all the tension he felt in his body fall apart as he pets the animal as it loved the attention.
The other cats were seemingly hanging around Aizawa as the man sat down on the couch in order to allow the small creatures to gather around his injuries. "Do you know why I own cats, Midoriya?" Aizawa suddenly asked, as Izuku picked up the black cat and sat on the couch as well. "No." Izuku said, as he pets the animal on his lap as it laid down on his lap. "From what I could gather on the internet, they can really make sure that you don't suffer from health problems. Even stated that their purring can heal you from the inside out, pulling your blood to the affected area in order to promote healing." Aizawa asked, as Izuku then remembered something he saw on Hero Tube when he was a kid. "Did you get that from Casual Geographic from Hero tube?" Izuku asked, as Aizawa shook his head. "I got it from the same man, who was on a different platform, at least before Heroes became a thing. It was called Youtube." Aizawa said, as he scratched the cat on his chest's chin.
As both males were petting the cats on their bodies, another cat showed up in the living room and found its way in Izuku's bed of hair as it started to try and eat it. "Well it seems like Garfield likes your hair." Aizawa said, with a weak chuckle. "Garfield? Another pre-quirk movie animal name?" Izuku asked, as the man nodded. As the night closed in on the two, they stayed on the couch as the animals' allowed their presence to be felt by both males. "The cat on your chest is Sasha, they are female." Aizawa said, before falling asleep. Smiling to himself, Izuku felt like everything was peaceful again. All Might still had his quirk, and he wouldn't be losing it anytime soon since he wouldn't be having a student to learn how to wield the quirk under him.
