They try dragging me away and the tears start running down my cheeks they had me in handcuffs was I really that dangerous?

"Wait wait" someone shouts from behind the large crowd of news reporters paramedics and other police officers and detectives, and Wilbur is pushing past all of them "their not going anywhere without me!" He shouts.

The officers that were taking me away just give each other a look and continue on to drag me away while Wilbur is following.

Fast forward to the police station

"So we Lia we have a plan for you in foster care for you are you alright with that?"

Before I could even say anything Wilbur burst out "No she'll be staying with me I want to be her legal guardian even if I have to adopt!" I was so confused he had seemed so cold all this time but now he's trying to get me out of foster. What the actual fuck?

"Okay um we'll talk to the supervisors"

Then they left the room leaving just Wilbur and I, I look at him confused searching for a answer or anything to explain the sudden change of heart.

"Listen I just don't want you in foster alright let's just leave it at that." He said looking to the corner of the room.

I'm so confused he's so different on camera like what he seems so warm and welcoming, but like now he seems cold I can't tell what he's thinking at literally any time.

We sat there in this awkward silence until the officers came back.

"So Wilbur we have some really good news for you, you are allowed to be Lia's legal guardian it's up to you if you choose to adopt her or not" they said walking in.

"Yes I want to adopt" he mumbled under his breath but it seemed I was the only one who heard.

"What was that sorry?" One of the officers asked

"I want to adopt Lia there is that loud enough for you" he stated almost shouting.

"Okay so we will go and get the paper that both you, Lia, and a judge will have to sign." Then they both left once again.

I look at Will wanting to hug him but he just doesn't seem like he wants a hug he's so damn cold it's kinda scary. Then it's back to the awkward silence until the officers come back with the paperwork that both him and I signed as soon as it was placed on the table.

"Well I guess that's all so all you need to do is get that signed off by a judge."

When we got out it was late maybe around 10:30 11:00 pm and it was raining, I look up at him "thank you" I whispered under my breath.

"Hmm" he looks back down at me confused

"Thank you" I repeat but louder so he could hear

"What for?"

"Everything."

Then back to the awkward silence of standing outside the station, then out of nowhere he wrapped his coat around me and we started walking. His coat was warm it must be rainproof it was like a light brown.

We end up at this small restaurant.

"What would you like to eat?" He asked

"Oh I'm not"

"What would you like to eat?" He cuts me off knowing exactly what I was going to say.

I look at the menu in my hands " um a cheese burger with some fries on the side and a banana milkshake" I say he gives me a look then the waiter comes over.

"Hi can I help you guys with anything tonight?"

"Yes I would like a cheese burger with fries on the side and a banana milkshake, and two tacos with fries on the side and a coke please" Wilbur orders.

I look at him wanting to hug him again but then again I didn't want to he reminded me of my mother in a way hard to read, somewhat cold, and not very physical.

"What do you want?" He asked noticing that I'm staring at him "hmm" I reply trying to act confused "you keep staring at me you've been doing it all afternoon?" He replies "oh um never mind" I managed to stutter out. He gives me a jokingly smirk "you're not one of those crazy fan people that think I'm hot are you?" He says jokingly and my entire face goes red like a tomato "No no" I'm still stuttering and he's just laughing.

Then the waiter comes back with our food and we eat almost in silence once again, I think that was the most warm he has been since we met. I truly don't understand how people find other people like you know hot and all that type of shit.

We walk for about five minutes before stopping outside this really nice house then he pulls off his backpack and starts frantically searching through it until he pulls out a set of keys, then unlocks the gate I take a step back of the sight of the house it's so pretty I'm speechless.

"Well are coming in or are you sleeping out in the rain?" He asks walking up to the front door "um yeah" I say still stunned by the sight of the house.

We enter the house and it seems so much bigger inside it's beautiful there was this beautiful fire place and a big flatscreen television sitting on the wall across and in the middle of the room is a massive couch with some beanbags around it. It was beautiful then there was a stairwell that led up to two out of three bedrooms I'm assuming the guests each bedroom had a ensuite and walk in wardrobe. The there was the downstairs bedrooms that both had study rooms attached to them along with the ensuite and wardrobe.

Obviously Wilbur used his study for his streaming and recording and all that and well yeah, then we move onto the kitchen and dining room it was massive had a beautiful oven, stoves loads of bench place and lots of room in the cabinets and there was this big beautiful table that sat right in the middle with around ten chairs surrounding it.  To my surprise there was almost no food in the cabinets or fridge there was mainly fast food bags and leftovers from them.

Then he showed me to my new room it was similar to his just a little smaller. "Um well that's the house I'll show you the outside when I wake up and please don't wake me in the morning um just make yourself at home and all that type of shit so yeah goodnight Jae" he spoke in a soft tone obviously extremely tired, "okay goodnight Wilbur thank you so much for everything" I reply he gives me a small smile in return before leaving the room and closing the door. I lay down on the bed and almost as soon as my head hits the pillow I fall asleep.
