"Are you serious right now Akeyluh?" Pharah questioned with a raise of tone while fear and confusion coated her facial features.

Akeyluh stayed silent as she looked down at her shaky hands that were sat on her lap. Tears were dropping from her ducts and landing on grey tights.

Pharah hastily hopped up from her sat position next to Akeyluh on the bed. The movement caused Akeyluh to bring her face up as it was so sudden— to look up and in front of her at Pharah's now red cheeks and nose and her own tears.

"Is it— is it because I still refer to you as my friend to my mom and brother or—." Pharah paused in her words. Her voice was frantic as she tried to come up with a reason why Akeyluh is having such a sudden change of heart about them. Her voice then lowered to such a vulnerable state that it quivered and cracked as she spoke, "—or are you just not in love with me any more?" She lowered her head after spewing the questioning words. Fearful to catch sight of Akeyluh's face. If that was the reason, she was scared to know.

Akeyluh's eyes widened at the last words she spoke. How dare Pharah think the reason that she wanted to break up with her is because she fell out of love with her? That would be the last reason she would break up with the girl. She loved— loves Pharah so much that it consumes her almost. Her friends even told her how it's impossible that she loves Pharah that much being that she's still young. They always told her how it's just puppy love and that she was her first girlfriend and relationship so of course it'd feel like that.

Pharah started to become more scared of the silence after asking her question. So she tried to pass by on an answer for it by asking another one, "is it because. Is it because you're scared to come out to your family? Akeyluh I don't mind waiting! I'm only out to my dad anyways—," Pharah couldn't continue her ramble as Akeyluh cut her off.

"It's not because I fell out of love with you. It's not because we aren't out," her voice was so low that Pharah had to strain her ears to hear her.

"Then what is it? Please tell me, I deserve to know why!" Pharah exclaimed. Her tone now lowered to the same octave Akeyluh's voice was as she didn't want to scare her or cause her any more tears with the raising of her own.

Akeyluh fiddled with the Pandora heart clasp bracelet that Pharah gifted to her two weeks ago with two charms on it. She was excited to gain more for it over the years but became saddened how she wouldn't after this.

She thought about her talks with Naomi. How she wished her and her friend shared an earpiece so she would know how to respond to Pharah's request. Sadly that couldn't be done. So instead Akeyluh just breathed in a deep breath and decided to just answer in the way her and Naomi talked about this.

"I just need a break Fare," Akeyluh started off softly. Her eyes still casted down on the bracelet to control her breathing and anxiety. "We entered in a relationship our first year of highschool. Neither of us had a chance to really experience our first two years and I just want our last two to be able to do that," she finally looked up at the pooled over brown eyes over her now ex-lover feeling even more heartbroken.
