CHAPTER 8 |Blossoming Feelings|

First's PoV:

First came back carrying Khaotung in his arms, and the two others were quick to stand up from their seats.

"What happened, is he ok?" Neo was quick to ask, making his way towards First, and moving the hair out of Khaotung's face to get a clearer look.

"He'll be fine, he's just had a few too many drinks."

After that Neo went to pay for their drinks, while Gawin helped First get Khaotung into the car, First stayed at the backseat, resting Khaotung's head in his lap, he was so focused his surroundings seemed to fade. Khaotung being the only thing along with himself in his little bubble, he ran his hand through his hair once, hoping it'd magically cure the headache that was sure to follow the next day.

Gawin made his way to the driver's seat, and they sat in silence waiting for Neo to return. That was until Gawin broke the silence.

"I'm sure he'll be fine First, you don't have to worry." Gawin tried to comfort the otherwise frantic First.

His words went on deaf ears however, First being fixated on making the younger comfortable, he took off his jacket seeing Khao shiver slightly and put it over him like a blanket. Once that was done he was sat in a trance like state, looking down at the visage of Khaotung. Seeing the way his eyebrows frowned a little showing the discomfort he was currently in, it eased however once First started running his hand gently through his hair again.

He couldn't hold himself back, and before he knew it he'd leaned down, placing a tender kiss against Khaotung's forehead. Mumbling a soft "You'll be ok, I've got you." against his forehead before pulling back.

He pulled back just in time for Neo to arrive, and then they were off. They went to First's apartment first, the owner's request, and First got out of the car after softly placing Khaotung's head against the cold leather seat of the car. He then picked him up, carrying him once again, Neo and Gawin got out of the car as well wanting to help. Neo got the pair's belongings and they started walking to First's door.

"Where are your keys?" Neo asked, carrying First's jacket that was neglected in the car seat.

"It should be in the left pocket." First replied, lucky for Khaotung both First and Neo were leaning more towards being heavy weights when it came to drinking, whereas Khao was very evidently a lightweight.

Neo got out the key and unlocked the door, opening it before stepping in, placing their belongings on a stool which was near the entryway.

Gawin made his way into the apartment as well, as he followed behind First, who placed Khaotung carefully on the couch in the living room after he'd kicked off his shoes. He then took off his shoes.

"Should we stay with you?" Gawin asked, standing awkwardly behind as Neo and First took care of their friend.

Neo sent First a wink, to which First frowned before making his way towards Gawin. "I think it's better if we go, I'm tired as hell and want more than anything to go straight to be right now." Neo said, placing his arm around Gawin's shoulders subtly guiding him towards the front door.

Gawin protested a bit at first but yielded once First added. "Yeah, I think you too getting home would help more, in case he wakes up all confused, a 1 on 1 explanation is better anyways. Afterall he's just gonna be sleeping so I won't even have to do anything." First said, following them to the door, sending them off, telling Neo to text him once he got home, and thanking the both of them for a nice evening.

Once they left he went back into the living room looking down at Khao who was laying limply yet gracefully on his couch. At first he shook him gently trying to wake him up to get him dressed in something more comfortable. Seeing no signs of him waking up however, he picked him up once again carrying him to his bedroom. Once he placed him in his bed, he tried to shake awake once more, shaking a bit harsher, but still seeing no signs. He sighed softly and shook his head in unbelievableness at how far he'd go for his best friend.
