Neo's PoV
Waking up the next day was weird. He looked down seeing Mark snuggled close to him and smiled leaning down to leave a kiss on his forehead. He however didn't feel rested, he had a hard time falling asleep last night, worries of Khaotung as well as First flooded his mind and left him too restless to fall asleep.
Even with a disagreeing body, he groaned and stretched as he made his way out of the bed. Throwing the comforter off of him, he leaned down afterwards to tug Mark in, silently leaving the bedroom, he made his way across the hallway.
He was now standing in front of the guestroom, he was however hesitating on opening the door, not knowing what he'd be met with. He took a deep breath before gently twisting the doorknob, and peeked inside the room.
He laid out a sigh of relief, seeing Khaotung was still asleep, he however frowned when he from a closer look noticed the tears running down the smaller male's cheeks. Even his sleep wasn't safe from his tears.
Khaotung had always been an emotional person, tearing up if he was too happy, too excited or in this case upset. Deciding to leave him be for now, Neo made his way to the kitchen cooking up Khaotung's favorite. Pancakes.
Knowing his friend hadn't had dinner the day prior he made it his mission to make sure he'd eat something today.
Once Neo had finished preparing the food he walked back into his and Mark's bedroom, drawing back the curtains, and gently waking Mark by brushing his hand through his hair, "It's time to wake up Markiemoo~" Neo said purposely making his voice sound cuter.
Mark slowly woke up giggling at the younger's actions, rubbing his eyes and sitting up. "Ok, ok I'm up." He said, pushing a protesting Neo away.
Neo chuckled, telling him breakfast was ready on the table, before making his way to the guestroom across the hall. He knocked softly before entering. "Khao, breakfast is ready."
Once Khaotung got in his line of sight he froze. The older was well awake, sitting on the bed with his back towards the door, seemingly staring at his phone.
Neo, not getting a verbal response from the other made his way to his side, putting his hand gently on his shoulder, "What are you looking so intensely at, hm?" Neo said, nodding his head towards the phone in Khao's hands.
Khaotung, instead of answering, handed him his phone. Burying his face into his now empty hands, attempting to hide his distraught.
Neo curiously turned the phone over, seeing it light up with messages from Gawin. It was allegedly screenshots from Gawin and First's conversations, where First had been telling Gawin how he was using Khaotung to gain more attention in the industry.
Neo didn't believe one second of it, and couldn't see why Gawin would go to such lengths to split the two apart, it was a really selfish act. Neo laid the phone down on the bed behind them, taking a seat beside Khaotung drawing his arm around his shoulders.
"Well surely you don't believe that, you know First wouldn't even dream of doing anything like that." Neo said.
Khaotung nodded, slowly pulling his face back from his tear stained hands, "I know, it's just that," Khaotung paused and it seemed he needed a moment to collect himself before continuing. "I love First, so much Neo, and it just pains me that if this is what happens before we've even gone public about our relationship, I just." Another pause, but the silence spoke volumes. "I can't even imagine what will happen once we do go public." Khaotung said, letting out a deep sigh.
"I guess what I'm really trying to say is that I'm scared. And now with Gawin kissing First in front of me, it's making my head spin with too many scenarios, and it's getting harder and harder to organize what's real from what's fake." Khaotung said, turning his teary eyes to the taller man beside him.
